I just ❤️ seeing our client partners like thrive and watching my podcast guests work the floor successfully to grow their businesses.

But it’s all the new friends and connections that I made that make the ‘Zoo’ the best 👏

My highlight without a doubt was the opportunity to meet the one and only and seeing her amazing brand and her commitment through the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, a non-profit focused on ending animal cruelty and abuse across the world.🥰❤️

I can’t wait to see how all of our new connections can work better together to grow.

So tonight I pulled out the dusty CD’s from my prime eclectic highschool and college days, ‘90’s baby 👏🙌, and ‘forced’ the house to jam it out with me…. Dude, c’mon from The nerve pipe, Rusted root, Collective soul, Star 69, even Woody Herman, Tina turner(saw her in concert with Joseph Bevington), Beck!!, and admittedly Dave Matthew’s Band I had it going on 🤘

My 1st ever CD was Ozzi Osbourne and 1st concert the Foo Fighters 👏

I might ❤️ me some country but at the core I love a solid Eagle Eye Cherry👀🙌

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Today kicked off the college tour adventures with my eldest at none other than the 🏫

First off, let me tell you, college tours are exhausting! And secondly, it’s surreal to think we have a child getting ready to head to college.

But here’s the funny part…..while we were on the tour, I spotted some graphics and branding for the dining hall that Ninedot created circa 2010! Talk about a blast from the past. 😅 Naturally, I asked my daughter what she thought of them.

Without missing a beat, she said, “They’re boring, Dad.”😂😂👏 Ah, kids. Always keeping us humble.

24 years ago, fresh out of art school, I made the leap from freelancing to founding my own creative agency—Mark Richard Studios. Back then, we were all about print and branding; digital wasn’t even on the radar yet. (Yes, I’m showing my age here 😂)

By 2007, with a few consultants onboard and a portfolio shifting towards digital, I rebranded the agency to Ninedot after completing my graduate studies in Advertising at Syracuse University

Fast forward to today, and we’ve evolved into a full-service digital agency, leveraging the latest tech and AI to help our clients’ websites thrive. Yet, our creative roots remain at the heart of everything we do because design is integral to every engagement. ✍️

21 years ago I chartered the Argia Mystic Cruises to propose to my love and thankfully, she said yes 🥰

To celebrate our 20th anniversary I chartered the schooner again to celebrate us and the amazing life God has blessed us with.

Marriage is never easy but Gods plans for us have been awesome.

Circa 1996/97 I worked as a ‘soda jerk’ scooping hard ice cream at the historic and memorable Good Ol’ Wishy’s in a small town in the Adirondacks, NY.

Today I was back enjoying a ‘mini’ (small size to every other establishment on earth) with my Mom and my 3 kiddos 😘

There’s something magical about small towns and I’m proud to always call Croghan, NY home and cherish the many fond memories growing up there.

I’d have to admit I hands down made the best black & tan sundae in the lower 48 👀👏

is more than a hard A$$ workout it’s honoring the fallen… the brave men and women that gave it all for YOU & me to live in the land of the FREE.

Put your beers down, get off the couch and honor all those that have fallen. Inspired always by thankful that taught me to stay 

This years Murph was a PR but I was do***ng it last couple of sets… but I NEVER gave up. I pushed through the grit, the cramps and the ‘I can’t do it’ BS to make it happen.

22 years ago Ninedot started as a humble freelance operation on the 3rd floor of the 'Tower' at Grace Episcopal Church in Down City Providence, RI.

Today, we're still based in Providence, RI and have become a thriving digital agency working on projects and clients from across the globe.

Senedia has become the leading alliance for Defense Tech, Talent, and Innovation within the defense industry. Working closely with the Clarendon Group Ninedot was engaged to refresh Senedia's brand identity and completely redesign their website. The brand identity refresh went through a thorough exploration of color, typography and shape to culminate on a brand identity that was equal parts legacy as it was modern. For the website we started from scratch and built a custom Wordpress website with a CMS foundation that can grow overtime.

Smoked Maple Bourbon to celebrate ‘Merica! Happy Independence Day weekend from Buffalo Distillery 🦬

Today was special.

Early in my career I had the privilege of meeting and working with a design icon…Franz Werner. We met during my Summer of 2001 where I took a Typography class at We became friends and even shared office space in Downtown Providence for 14 yrs.

I have been honored to have been his guest Crit professor for years at The Rhode Island School of Design but today was bitter sweet.

You see, I applied to RISD not once but twice as a graduate student and I was denied twice. Despite that disappointment God had other plans for me and I eventually attended Syracuse for my Masters in Advertising back in 2007.

There’s something special about growing as a design professional. You learn more about yourself as you mature and in turn are able to see things you never thought possible. I owe a lot of that wisdom from my dear friend and mentor Franz Werner.

I never graduated from the best Design school in the world but I now have been able to shape and influence the next generation of the best design talent in the world!!!🥰

Today I was able to pay it forward as a guest Crit for Rhode Island School of Design Typography II class.

I’m humbled to have participated in such an experience.
