Graduation Day for Pippa!! This young woman, who has taught me so much about how speak your own truth, to let go of unnecessary expectations, and to focus on the REALLY good stuff is done with her schooling. There were days, years even, when I wasn't sure if she would make it. But she held on, and fought through. Today she stood up and read a speech she had written herself about her future plans and growing independence. I could not be more proud. I couldn't be luckier. Many thanks to the teachers who saw her gifts, to the physicians who got us through crisis after crisis, and the family who gave support and shelter so we could focus on her life.
