Meet Ben, the cofounder of beLEAF

Ben first connected with the people of west Africa in 2017, as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints

Since then he’s dedicated his time in college to study, entrepreneurship and graduate with a bachelors degree in April.

Family plays essential role in Ben’s life. beLEAF is one way he hopes to bless families in West Africa, who have a special place in his heart

Many wonderful charities are set up to collect funds for those who struggle in West Africa. We admire the work they do, but we know there is a better way. We want to change how the people of West Africa are viewed--not as people who need your money but who need opportunities that you can help provide. They are talented individuals who can create and contribute to society. We are seeking to empower African families by supporting their small businesses so that they can better provide for their families!

We started BeLEAF to provide a life-long impact on the world. Our #1 goal is to empower African families to become self-reliant. Although we are just starting, we hope to help more families and establish more projects that provide the people of West Africa opportunities to work, create, and develop personally.
