The BEFORE AND AFTER from our grand reveal makeover.

When I say that my job is more than just the hair - well, it really is more than just the hair.

This was a fun makeover. Elisa Hernandez was so beautiful inside and out and kept expressing her gratitude our entire time together ❤️

Elisa’s story - Her husband had become paralyzed by falling off a roof while working only a month before which left Elisa needing to find a better paying job to provide for her husband and kids and still cover the ever accruing medical bills. So because she needed to slay the upcoming interviews she was a perfect candidate for the makeover reveal, and might I add - she was so fun to work with.

Honestly AMAZING!!
Although I had mapped out what I was going to do with Elisa, in the end I was still in absolute awe of her transformation. She has the biggest most beautiful smile with her full lips, amazing cheek bones and she smiles with her soft twinkly eyes 😍

Removing the weight from the bottom of her hair, then creating a warm dimensional blonde color brightened up her whole face and really her whole demeanor. Now when you look at her the first thing you see are her eyes.

Getting to know Elisa was inspiring. People are incredible, especially those like Elisa that love and serve even while they are being served to. When I first met Elisa she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders but not on her sleeves. She had every right to be bitter but even in her sadness and unsure future she shared her sweet love and grateful heart.

I was blessed to get to know Elisa and grateful for the chance to help propel her forward under such devastating circumstances.

It’s more than just the hair. It’s about people and their stories. It’s about humans being human while navigating this crazy thing called life. It’s about choosing, regardless of the circumstances, the experience you want to experience. It’s about being intentional with the thoughts and feelings you want to have. Life happens, circumstances happen, and regardless, we get to and can create a beautiful and joyful life.
