We are united in supporting every child every day.
Can you believe it’s been a week since Day of Caring? 😲 Shoutout to over 1,700 volunteers who helped out at 36 nonprofits, parks, community gardens, and libraries to complete maintenance, general clean up, and other special projects! ⚒️🧹💛🌳
These projects help local agencies who provide essential services and, ultimately, improve the quality of life of those they serve. 🫶

One principal expressed heartfelt gratitude by saying, “I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone involved in painting our blacktop. The games and designs you created will bring so much joy to our students, and the space is now so vibrant. Your kindness and hard work show them exactly what being a helper in difficult times looks like.”

This breakfast wouldn’t be possible without our incredible sponsors .valley.university 😁 And a special thank you to for bringing water bottles for every attendee, Kiwanis Club of Provo for lending the grills, and for the coffee ☕️
Each year we have a blessing on the day. Then, to honor the memory of the heroes of September 11th, a special combined honor guard of Provo police and firefighters present the flag 🇺🇸This is an annual tradition accompanied by the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem.

✨Volunteer highlight ✨
Students from the Global Engineering Outreach (GEO) Club at Brigham Young University (BYU) finished making a unique table for the United Way Center at South Franklin. This table was specially designed for the kids to play with sand and foster their creativity. After several iterations, they finally perfected it. The students loved finding a way to take what they learned from the classroom and apply it to a real-world situation.
Noelani Mason, President of the GEO Club said “The primary focus of our club is to increase learning and make it meaningful for someone else. It’s great to know this is actually making a difference and it’s important even if it’s making a difference for one person.”
Thank you for using your education and expertise to make a difference in our community! 💙
