COOL STORY!!
I’m in a professional development women’s group online with other women/mentors doing business and sharing struggles and vulnerabilities to empower each other. One day I came up with let’s do a 🌟SHINE SHARE🌟 as a way to share a positive event occurring in our lives. It sounded silly but I like bringing light to heavy areas of life.
Today the 🌟SHINE SHARES🌟 were so empowering and I have permission to share this one. This young lady first came to me on September of 2021 for her first appointment and I’ve seen her periodically every 6 months or so since. Today I asked her as I handed her the “mic”(it lightens the mood) and I said “Before we dive into your ‘weaknesses’ you are here to improve, please share a strength with me”
Her reply as she took the “mic/confident talking stick” with a big grin and giggle she said “I recently accepted Jesus into my life and was baptized 🙌🏼” and I’m getting ready to start nursing school 🤩” I gave her a high five and another high five and was fighting back my tears of joy! We talked about those things 2 years ago and she’s been putting in the work to create a future for herself as she has overcome childhood adversities!!
So stinking happy for her! It’s ok to own and embrace your accomplishments with confidence and humility! BE PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE in order to share your light with joy and confidence! That’s how we plant seeds, create ripples, and affect change in the world!
So excited about getting to help bring awareness of how patients are physioemotionally impacted by necessary medical procedures!

Treatment resistant “DEPRESSION” for me was grief from traumatic loss, lack of childhood memory, low fat diet in my 20’s, overwhelmed and burnt up nervous system and neuroendocrine system, unhealthy cellular output from too much adrenaline/cortisol with over exercise and lack of micronutrients getting into the cells from parasympathetic impairment, nervous system dysregulation that was further damaged by antidepressants I started taking for panic attacks. I finally had to take matters in my own hands and ask myself “How do I reverse this” Great article and helps understanding as to how a biopsychosocial approach works.
The Link Between Depression, Metabolism, and Mortality How depression can be a sign of metabolic dysfunction.
This is why a biopsychosocial approach is vital for true healing! Using the different modalities put together in one spot, we address all of these components!
Healing is found when both physiological stressors (underlying gut problems, environmental toxins, biotoxins like mold, chronic bacterial, viral infections & nutrient deficiencies) and psychological stressors (chronic stress and unresolved trauma) are dealt with.

United Nations & World Health Organisation new report stating that the medical model of mental health needs to be overhauled; and that psychiatric diagnosis, labelling & pathologising people who are traumatised, abused, in poverty, & oppressed impacts human rights.
Biomedical vs Biopsychosocial and there it is!
Biopsychosocial is working with the “whole” person! It’s your “matter” that minds 🦋
Why is it important? Because it can be approached differently with positive results!
It is World Mental Health day, and what I’ve learned is mental hental health is so often not mental health; it is metabolic, it is being a sensitive soul, it is a metabolic detox dysfunction in our cellular structure, it is emotional, it is vitamin deficiencies, it is grief, if is false core beliefs about ourselves, it is religious wounds, the list goes on and on!!
My family has dealt with “mental health” symptoms significantly and at the root of all of it it is generational trauma, it is metabolic, it was grief!!
I made a commitment to myself to do whatever it takes in this mission of mine in this life, I did not choose the journey but it was chosen for me and I will follow that purpose to impact any person everyday for the rest of my life to

A little about me and how I got to this point🤩🦋❤️
My name is Karla Dale. I am certified in Emotional/Energy Healing. I am a Registered Nurse and have worked in taking care of trauma patients on a post surgical trauma floor at a local major hospital. I have worked as a district nurse in a school setting, in addition to working as an RN case manager. This career took a toll due to my becoming ill, which involved brain damage, extensive physical symptoms, and chronic stress. Through my trauma, I was sent on this journey to finding complete wellness in Energy Healing. I have gone through an extensive healing process, leading me to a true understanding and passion for Energy Healing. In attempts to get well, I have taken over 20 medications prescribed by general practitioners and psychiatrists; have tried talk therapy; EMDR; Brain-spotting; Neuro-feedback; Body Code, T3 sessions, Psych k, acupuncture; had extensive neuropsychiatric testing; had brain scans; had brain maps; and many more attempts to get well. I have spent the last 8 years in pain and suffering- spending my time educating myself to try and help myself get well, spending tens of thousands of dollars, and experiencing lots of trial and error to find out what works for true healing. Let me help you live a healthier and happier life by freeing yourself of conditioned beliefs that don’t suit you, childhood trauma, grief, and help getting your body renourished and rebalanced. The need to control our environment is rooted in a fear of uncertainty. This tendency is exacerbated when we experience feelings of anxiety or hold ourselves to unrealistically high standards. Why? Because it is our brain's effort to create a sense of security and predictability.
A persistent need to control every situation can negatively impact our mental health and relationships with others. In addition, it can keep us in a constant state of stress, releasing cortisol and impacting our overall health.
For this reason, it is helpful to identify what things are in your control and allow yourself to let go of what you cannot control. Be intentional about your mindset and how you choose to spend your energy.
