Gary and I are proud to say Johnathan Ragsdale is taking over our business.

This has been a very hard decision on my part. For 21 years, MasterClean Auto Detail has been our second home. So many stories, so many memories have been made there. We were there longer than any home we ever lived in. The people we have met have been incredible. What started as clients, most became friends. Some of them actually became like family.

As I write this, it’s hitting me that it’s real. I know it had to be done, but it sure isn’t easy. My health has deteriorated and Gary’s vision isn’t as good as it once was. Our precious parents aren’t getting younger and we want to be with them as much as possible.

With all that said, Johnathan Ragsdale was the one we trusted to hand over our clients to. I had been watching his work ethics for quite a while.
He owns and operates his mobile detail service, for over 5 years. It’s Ragz Detail.
I saw his integrity, honesty and ability, so we asked him to consider taking our business that we had loved so many years.

After much consideration, we have all 3 decided this would be a good thing.
So, to all our clients, I can honestly say John will take great care with your vehicles, and dare I say, maybe even better than we did. He has talent that surpasses ours. He stays up to date on the latest techniques and recently went to a 3 day class, out of state, on TRUE Ceramic Coatings. This young man is very talented and ready to go.

He has started calling our clients, but I am putting his contact information here so you can reach out to him. If you had a monthly or quarterly agreement with us, be sure and let him know that. If he doesn’t answer, leave a voicemail. He will call you back.

We are cleaning a new baby today. She has 241 miles on her.

Her owner wanted our best 2 stage wax, on the outside, and our premium protection plan on the inside.

We appreciate the trust our clients have for us. It’s truly humbling to be given this honor.

It’s been said that all we do, at our shop, is new vehicles.
Um.
Are they all new,,,, or just look that way?
Here is proof that not all are “new”,,, they just look that way.

We honestly love doing what we do. Even if a vehicle has over 200,000 miles on it, we enjoy making it feel as new as possible.

Prices for Extreme Detail, inside and outside, including Wax, depending on your vehicle and condition, prices start as follows:

Cars and 200
Trucks & Mid size (2 row’s) SUV’s $250
1Tons and large (3 row’s) SUV’s. $270

This includes:
EXTERIOR
Bug, tar removal, completely washed.
Carnuba wax applied with Orbital Polisher, removed by hand. All door jams cleaned
Tires and wheels cleaned and dressed
Windows polished

INTERIOR:
I start by gently cleaning the headliner, all the way down to where the seats are bolted to the floor.
Then, I polish the interior windows and dress the leather. My conditioner does not leave the surface slick or shiny.

Your vehicle never leaves our shop, until you pick it up at your convenience. We treat your vehicle as if it was ours. Vehicles are the second largest investment, behind homes. We consider it an honor when you allow us the opportunity to help you take care of it.

All work is done by the owners and your vehicle never leaves our lot. Everything is done by hand. We take great care with each vehicle.

I have posted this before, but feel I need to again.
This type of car vent clips WILL eat thru your upholstery. It does not matter if it pleather or leather. I have seen it on a new Volvo. It blew out of the vent, landed on the new leather passenger seat and left a hole the same size as the device.
There are cheaper and better things to do.
For instance, if you have a fabric softener sheet that you like, place a couple under each seat.

Meet “Winchester”. His daddy traded in his Volvo, for him. He is a 2022 Lincoln Corsair. He still has his paper tag on the back. Lol
I miss my old babies when their parents trade them in, or sell them. Then, I like playing with the new ones.
Have I said lately, we love our job.
Time to start cleaning him up.
I’ll be seeing him every month, for as long as the owner has him. ❣️

What a beautiful time of year🎄🙌🏻⭐️🌟
Here are a couple of tips for traveling with that yummy food.

1. Wrap. Wrap it again, in aluminum foil, if it’s hot food. Then wrap in a heavy towel.
2. Place the wrapped food in a box, if possible, in a SUV. Secure the box from moving.
3. If able, put the wrapped food in a floor board. It kinda keeps it from being able to slide around.
4. Basically, prepare the food to ride completely still, even if you have to brake hard.

5. If you’re traveling very far, throw a Walmart bag in the seat cubbies. When people start eating and drinking, ask them to put trash in the bag. That way, clean up will be easier after you get to where you’re going.

Other then that, have the Merriest Christmas ever. It’s not about gifts anymore, to me. It’s all about pausing to thank God for sending His Son as our Savior.

Tip of the week:
Most of you may know this, but I didn’t know until a few years ago.
The “hook”, on the latch of most doors, is also for assistance to get into trucks/SUV’s. They can be used to aid in holding on by either putting pressure on the hook, or to hook your fingers around to pull up.
If you have elderly people in your family, this is great help.

Hey, everyone. It’s Gary and I checking in. We took a week vacation and, due to circumstances beyond our control, we won’t be opening again until Friday, June 11. Life happens. We love what we do. I guess God says slow down and rest, every once in a while.
Thank you to all our clients that have been patient.

It’s been a few minutes since we have posted here.
Gary and I had a rough winter, to put it lightly. He missed Thanksgiving and Christmas looked iffy, but he did get to be with us Christmas. He is much, much better now.

We are back to detailing.
But, here is the deal.
We aren’t getting younger. We have done this since both of us got our first cars. We have done this together since we started dating again (longer story😂), over 33 years ago. It’s something we both LOVE to do.
With Gary’s loss of his central vision years ago, we need more time to do our best work. Also, the constant crazy positions I have to get into doing Corvettes and sports cars, and the climbing in and out of trucks with Lift kits, my drs are shocked I can still do what I’m doing, (because of the shape of my back and knees).
With that said, we are only accepting 2 more Monthly Maintenance Agreements, and that is it.

We hate turning down work, but we don’t want to take on more work and then make our clients suffer by us doing less quality work.
