I went around and picked up my signs. I believe I got them all but if I missed one just let me know and I'll come get it. Once again, I am humbled and appreciative of be elected to represent Ward 2 for the City of Pryor!
I am appreciative of everyone's vote cast for me in this runoff election! Thank you and I am looking forward to serving the citizens of Ward 2 on the Pryor City Council! To all those who held signs today, let me place a yard sign, knocked on doors, and spoke to family, friends, and neighbors for me, THANK YOU!
Why involve your children? To teach them first hand from a young age how we have come to elect our representation at all levels and also to let them show us how they can creatively wave campaign signs!
I hope everyone had a blessed Easter/Resurrection Sunday with your families! Tomorrow is the day for Ward 2 citizens! Be sure to get out tomorrow and vote for the Ward 2 City Council Runoff!
We are 1 week from the run-off! Remember, if you cannot make the vote on April 2, early voting is available this Thursday & Friday from 8 am to 6 pm both days!

Happy Sunday y'all. The election is this Tuesday February 13! For those I have yet to knock on your door, I apologize I was unable to make it to you before now, but if I end up in a run-off seeing that there are three candidates, I will make more pushes to get to as many doors in Ward 2 as possible! It has been an absolute pleasure speaking with the citizens of Ward 2 and I appreciate the Pryor Library and Pryor Area Chamber of Commerce for putting on the candidate forum! It was great to meet with the citizens who attended and as well as the other candidates. My best wishes to them on Tuesday! The main points I brought up included being another voice and vote for fiscal responsibility regarding the city budget, including bringing an audit on the new police and fire station and the library renovation to see where things went wrong so we can avoid these mistakes in the future and looking into the city code to see if we are placing unnecessary burdens on those who wish to set up business in our city. I also desire to bring more transparency and communication to the citizens in general as to what is going on in the city. Many citizens of Ward 2 have expressed the concern that they seem to be invisible. We have many resources available for citizens to research things, but we can also improve communication by taking the first step to reaching out to the citizens in a number of ways. Should the citizens of Ward 2 elect me, I will at minimum post monthly updates/videos as to the issues at hand for the month, including livestreams. I am also open to suggestions as in-person meetings have been floated around by various candidates throughout the years. This way, should a citizen miss out, you will be able to review the information at your leisure and be able to ask questions. Blessings to you, have a restful Lord's Day, and I hope I can count on your vote this Tuesday!

See you here on Feb 8 at 6 p.m.
Come on out to the Pryor library to meet the candidates for Pryor City Council this Thursday, February 8th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm! I encourage you to come out and get informed on the candidates so you can make an informed vote! Hope to see you there!
We'd like you to join us for a gathering with the prospective candidates for the Pryor City Council. We'll be posing various questions to them, allowing them to share a bit about themselves and express their motivations for seeking a seat on the Council.
What I desire to bring to the City Council of Pryor Creek is a discerning and sober mind that looks at all sides of situation placed before us. The vote of the council members ought to reflect a care for the state of the city and where the city is headed whilst also hearing the desires of the citizens. City government must serve the people by tending to that which is within its scope, utilizing the taxpayer's money honorably, and being free from improper influence.
I desire to bring that to our city finances. We may not be in complete dire straights at the moment, but the decisions we make today will determine our situation in the next few years.
I hope your Sunday was a blessed day of rest.
Poll: You can resolve one primary issue facing our city. What would you choose? Leave your answer in the comments below!
It was a great pleasure being able to speak with many residents of Ward 2. Topics ranged from budget to roads to transparency to the homeless situation to youth sports. I look forward to speaking with many others! If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to reach out! I would be honored to represent you as your City Council member! Blessings to you!
I will be out door knocking today. I look forward to visiting with you all.
My name is Kenneth Brashears and I figured I would start off by introducing myself in case I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you in person yet.
My wife and I are blessed with 4 children ages 2-8. I was raised in Verdigris and then served 6 years in the Army. When my service was over, we moved back here to Pryor, where my wife was raised, to raise our own family. I currently work remote for Samaritan Ministries. My wife and I each run in home businesses as well, so I am a huge advocate for supporting our own community through shopping locally.
It is important to me to serve my local community, and serving on the council would allow me to do so in an even greater capacity. It would be an honor to serve as a council member for Ward 2.
I am excited to meet more of you in person. Please do not hesitate to reach out to ask any questions you may have. You may message me on here, email me at [email protected] , or give me a call at 918-730-0284.
