Neither will the priestly type of man who carries out his duties, takes his pay and asks no questions, nor the smooth-talking pastoral type who knows how to make the Christian religion acceptable to everyone.
"Another kind of religious leader must arise among us. He must be of the old prophet type, a man who has seen visions of God and has heard a voice from the throne. When he comes [and I pray God there will be not one but many] he will stand in flat contradiction to everything our smirking, smooth civilization holds dear. He will contradict, denounce and protest in the name of God and will earn the hatred and opposition of a large segment of Christendom. Such a man is likely to be lean, rugged, blunt-spoken and a little bit angry with the world. He will love Christ and the souls of men to the point of willingness to die for the glory of the one and the salvation of the other. But he will fear nothing that breathes with mortal breath." And He will Trust totally in God and His Word.

Noah’s Days: “…the earth? was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.” (Genesis 6:11,13) Today because man has turned from God hatred is fueling men’s hearts resulting in bombings and shootings in schools, theaters, malls, the work place and public events. An atmosphere of lawlessness is emerging as law enforcement is under attack. Tension between races is explosive! Crime is on the rise and murder statistics are sharply increasing! Across the globe, savagery and blood shed are escalating! Islamic terrorists are fixated on destroying America, Israel and her people! The entire Middle East is embroiled in war, and Christians are slaughtered daily in a ruthless attempt to eradicate Christianity. There can be no doubt that violence has again filled the earth! But there is more?

“?And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his (man’s) heart was only evil continually.” (Genesis 6:5) Our world in a nutshell! (Romans 1:29-32) Homosexuality is legalized, the transgender lifestyle is encouraged and awarded, fornication is excused, the murderous act of abortion is readily accepted, the entertainment media glorifies the dark and vulgar themes of violence and sexual depravity, while the voice of true Christianity is being silenced! But there is more?

Lot’s Days: “? S***m and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh” (Jude 7). Although opposition to homosexuality rankles many, God’s Word distinctly describes homosexuality as an abomination unto God! (Leviticus 18:22/Romans 1:27) Yet America has become the twenty-first country to legalize same-sex marriage. The world is repeating the evils of Lot’s days! “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil:?” (Isaiah 5:20).

God is longsuffering (II Peter 3:9) but He will exact righteous vengeance that will be eternal and rightly deserved upon those who deny Him! (Romans 1:18) So, what does that mean for each of us? It means we urgently need to remember the flood of Noah (God’s judgment) and the fire and brimstone (God’s judgment) of S***m that destroyed many, leaving but a few. (Genesis 6 and 19) It means each of us needs to repent of our sins, ask the Lord for forgiveness, thereby receiving eternal salvation through the shed blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1:7). That means if we do not have Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, we will forever suffer judgment in eternal torment! (Mark 9:43-48/ Revelation 20:14). Just eight people entered through the ark’s only door, having trusted the Lord to save them!

People that say they trust the Lord but don’t believe His Word do not really trust Him.

Jesus said it was those who continued in His word who would become His disciples.

It’s impossible to trust the Lord without knowing what He says.

Believing what His word says and following His teachings is critical to being able to trust Him.

THE SITUATION CAN LOOK OVERWHELMING.

IT CAN APPEAR IMPOSSIBLE AT TIMES.

BUT GOD DOES NOT LIE, REMEMBER HE IS WITH YOU AND HELPING YOU ALWAYS.

Location, Location, Location!
Where will you spend ETERNITY?
Again, Location, location, location means everything.

In Hell you'll remember the ones who unrelentingly warned
and pleaded with you to repent and believe the Gospel!

There is only TWO roads to take.
There is only TWO locations to spend eternity.
It's your choice, today is the day of Salvation.

YOUR CHURCH IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT

1. If it is a growing church, it is because you come regularly with your children.
2. If it is an active church, it is because you gave your time to promote it's programs and activities.
3. If it is a scriptural church, it is because you will settle for nothing less.
4. If it is a friendly church, it is because you are a friendly Christian, and make it so.
5. If it is a living church, it is because you freely give of the fruits of your labor.
6. If it is a Missionary-minded church, it is because you believe that the church is responsible to send forth the message of Christ to others.
7. If it is a soul-winning church, it is because you are a soul-winner in your daily life.

So, please remember that our church will be exactly what you and I as members make of it.

You know,
I don't care how much money you may have.
I don't care how many new cars you may have.
I don't care how big of a house you live in.
There is only one thing I care about, and that is
ARE YOU SAVED? DO YOU KNOW JESUS?
Because without him, you are as lost as lost can be.
God don't care and will not ask you,
How much money you have, he's going to ask.
did you help anyone along life's way.
He's not going to ask you about your new cars,
He's going to ask did you give anyone a ride to church.
He's not going to ask you about your big house,
He's going to ask you did you invite the lost,
the hungry, the lonely over for a meal or give a place to stay.

8 Functions of the Holy Spirit as Taught by Jesus

1. Dwells in us

John 14:17: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him: but you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you

Dwelling in is the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

2. Teach us all things

John 14:26: But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things

3. Bring remembrance of all things Jesus said

John 14:26: But the Comforter, who is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you

4. Testifies of Jesus Christ

John 15:26: But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, He shall testify of me

5. Convict world of sin, righteousness and judgment

John 16:8: And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

John 16:9: Of sin, because they believe not on me

John 16:10: Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more

John 16:11: Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged

6. Guide us in all truth

John 16:13: However when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak

Truth is Jesus Christ as we have seen in who is the Holy Spirit and said in John 14:6

7. Tell us things to come

… and he will show you things to come (John 16:13)

The Holy Spirit takes what is of Jesus Christ and shows it to us

John 16:14-15: He shall glorify Me: for He shall take what is mine, and shall show it unto you. All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that He shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

8. Glorifies Jesus

John 16:14: He shall glorify me

Holy Spirit speaks.

John 16:13: However when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak

The question is – Do you hear His voice and obey?

1. HE WAS BORN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

2. HE WAS ANOINTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
For thirty years He lived a Spirit-filled life, a life entirely apart from sin; but before He began His public ministry He received a definite anointing of the Holy Spirit – look up Matthew 3:13-17,

3. HE WAS LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT ALONG A PATHWAY OF COMPLETE VICTORY OVER SATAN
Look up Matthew 4:1,

4. HIS WHOLE LIFE AND MINISTRY WAS LIVED AND PERFORMED IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Look up Luke 4:18; Acts 10:38.

5. HE POURED OUT HIS LIFE IN SACRIFICE IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
In Hebrews 7:27 we read that “He offered himself…” How did He do it? Hebrews 9:14 tells us.

As we view His life so utterly controlled by the Holy Spirit, let us seek that the same Holy Spirit may utterly control us, and thus reproduce the fulness of His life and victory in us.

It is enough for the servant that he be ‘like his master‘ (Matthew 10:25)

If you constantly seek approval you’ll be vulnerable to rejection.

If you constantly seek attention you’ll be vulnerable to loneliness.

If you constantly seek affirmation you’ll be vulnerable to neglect.

But If you constantly seek God you shall find him.

Hosea 13:9 - O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.

This word from God was to Israel but this is also to America if we will only remember that God is our only hope, God is our only help.
America you have relied upon your strength and now its letting us down. Why? because we have turned our backs on God and his Word. America RETURN TO GOD. REPENT. Jesus is coming back soon and His reward will be with him. I want you to realize one thing, We can never go back to what was, that water has done gone under the bridge. But we can go forward ONLY IF WE HOLD TO THOSE NAIL SCARED HANDS. And keep God number one in our lives. Keep Marching Child of God, Keep looking up for your redemption draws nigh. God Bless each one of you.

A Church without the Holy Spirit, is like a ship without a sail.

God is my Offence and my Defense;

Adonai – Lord
Before we can know God according to many of His other names in the Bible, we must know Him as our Adonai. He must be our Lord and master. As our Creator and our Redeemer, He is worthy of our lives lived in surrender to His loving lordship.
For I know that the Lord is great and that our Lord is above all gods. – Psalm 135:5
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ – Matthew 7:21-23
El Elyon – God Most High
God is omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), and omnipresent (present everywhere). He is sovereign over the affairs of heaven and earth.
That man may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other, The One forming light and creating darkness, causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the Lord who does all these. – Isaiah 45:6-7
So Pilate said to Him, “You do not speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You?” 11 Jesus answered, “You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.” – John 19:10-11
El Roi – God Who Sees
This is one of my favorite names of God. God sees into the depth of our hearts and minds. There is no emotion, thought, fear, or hurt that kept hidden from His eyes. The idea that there is a person who knows me this intimately can be an intimidating thought. Yet when we understand the nature of our heavenly Father, we can take comfort in this comprehensive knowledge He has of us. As His children, He loves us deeply. Despite our dark and sinful nature. We are covered in the blood of Jesus. That is what He sees.
Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees”; for she said, “Have I even remained alive here after seeing Him?” – Genesis 16:36 (see context)
El Shaddai – All-Sufficient One
There is no desire, need, or weakness that cannot be fulfilled or provided for by God Himself. His grace is sufficient for us.
And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. – 2 Corinthians 12:9
Jehovah Jireh – Lord Who Provides
God has provided His Son to pay the penalty for our sin that we may inherit eternal life together with Him. This is who we are in Christ. If He has already provided for us in this way, we can be confident that He will continue to provide for our every need.
Then Abraham raised his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns; and Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering in the place of his son. 14 Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide, as it is said to this day, “In the mount of the Lord it will be provided.” – Genesis 22:13-14
Jehovah Rapha – Lord Who Heals
This is one of my favorite meanings of the names of God. God gave His Son not only to meet our greatest need of salvation but also to heal our greatest brokenness – sin. Our Jehovah Rapha sent His Son to heal the devastating effects of sin and restore our broken relationship with Him.
And He said, “If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.” – Genesis 15:26

Under God’s banner, we move from victory to victory. “Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57 NASB)
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this in a book as a memorial and recite it to Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.” 15 Moses built an altar and named it The Lord is My Banner; 16 and he said, “The Lord has sworn; the Lord will have war against Amalek from generation to generation.” – Exodus 17:14-16 (see context)
Jehovah Shalom – The Lord is Peace
Because we have peace with God through Jesus Christ we have the peace of God in our hearts and minds. No matter the obstacles life may throw at us, we know that our God is sovereign and we have an eternal inheritance to look forward to.
When Gideon saw that he was the angel of the Lord, he said, “Alas, O Lord God! For now I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face.” 23 The Lord said to him, “Peace to you, do not fear; you shall not die.” 24 Then Gideon built an altar there to the Lord and named it The Lord is Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites. – Judges 6:22-24 (see context)
Jehovah Sabaoth – Lord of Hosts
Our greatest enemy lives and attacks us from within the spiritual realm. However, the kingdom of heaven is fully equipped with a host of angelic armies fight for us in these heavenly places. God commands them to fight on our behalf. We are able to partner in this battle through prayer. Praying scripture is one of the most effective strategies we have in this fight.
Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” 16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. – 2 Kings 6:15-17
Jehovah Mekoddishkem – Lord Who Sanctifies
Sanctify is just a fancy name way to say ‘set apart’ or ‘to make holy’. It is God who continues the work in our hearts to make us more holy. More like Jesus. More like Himself.
“But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘You shall surely observe My sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. – Exodus 31:13
Jehovah Raab – The Lord My Shepherd

We can trust God as we follow Him, knowing that He is a good Shepherd who leads us along the right paths and toward the things that are ultimately for our good. This is such an important truth to stand on as we study the names of God and their meanings.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. – Psalm 23:1
Jehovah Tsidkenu – The Lord My Righteousness
There is nothing we can do to earn our righteousness. God alone is righteous. A person is made righteous when they confess their sins and accept Jesus as God’s way of forgiveness and salvation.
“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land. “In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘The Lord our righteousness.’ – Jeremiah 23:5-6
Jehovah Shammah – The Lord is Near
God’s promise to never leave or forsake us is a great source of comfort for every believer. He lives within us through the indwelling Holy Spirit and remains active and present in our daily lives.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. – Psalm 46:1

30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:
31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

Now what if everyone brought their sick, lame, diseased to the Church today to be healed? And then after they are healed to go and publish what the LORD had done for them. In short time thousands upon thousands would come to Gods Faith. You couldn't build a building big enough to hold them all. Yet today the so call churches are so dead and dried up they have become just a shell of Gods intended use.

Come see us at Pryor First ASSEMBLY OF GOD WHERE GOD IS DOING MIGHTY GREAT THINGS. AND ITS NOT MAN, BUT ITS BY GOD SPIRIT. Its funny in a way and not funny either. But God has shown me We are his hospital and some stay but most don't. When healed they go their way spreading what God has done for them. Which is great also. GOD BLESS EACH ONE.

Here’s a simple demonstration of how stiff-necked and hard-headed the Israelites were. Because of their reluctance to enter the land, God became so angry that He was ready to wipe out all the nation of Israel (Numbers 14:12). Thankfully, Moses interceded for them. Though God relented His anger, He gave a death sentence to all the Israelites; all who are 20 years old and above shall never enter the Promised Land except for Joshua and Caleb.

When the people heard this news, they mourned GREATLY. Now that God said that they should not go anymore, they decided to invade the land of Canaan!
