****Water System Update ****
We've completed flushing the water lines throughout town, and the water is running clear. If you're still experiencing any discoloration, please contact our office at 918-825-2100. We'll promptly flush the hydrants in your area to resolve the issue.

Oklahoma Human Services has received approval from the United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Services (USDA-FNS) to provide disaster SNAP (D-SNAP) benefits for individuals affected by the severe storms and tornadoes that struck Rogers and Mayes counties beginning May 25. As part of disaster recovery efforts, these benefits are available to non-SNAP customers who meet income and resource eligibility guidelines.
D-SNAP applications will be accepted in-person at the following location from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each weekday, Friday, July 12 through Thursday, July 18, 2024.

We have received a report that our phone number has been cloned and citizens are receiving calls that they have warrants through the City of Pryor Creek. The person identified themselves as a Pryor officer with badge #3869. They instructed the individual to move funds around to pay the warrant over the phone.
A Pryor Officer will never contact you by phone for the payment of a warrant. Fine payments are handled by City Hall and they do not accept bitcoin, cashapp, or gift cards.
Do not give these callers your personal information and if you feel the call is suspicious, feel free to contact us at 918-825-1212.
Fireworks Regulations in Pryor Creek
Our City Code for residential fireworks has been updated! The biggest change: permits are no longer required to set off fireworks at home. Save this image for reference, and feel free to call City Hall with any questions.

Power is still off in areas throughout town.
The City of Pryor Creek has lost power at a substation causing a major power outage in town.
The traffic lights are not functioning properly on Highway 69.
The train crossings are down throughout town.
Power lines are down at SE 9th and Elliott Street.
There is lots of standing water on the side streets and highways.
MUB is an aware and is working on getting power restored.
If you are out please use caution ⚠️

The skate park at Whitaker Park will officially open at noon today, June 14th! It is located near the splash pad, where the volley ball court used to be. No spectators or pets allowed inside the fence!

The Splash Pad parking lot will be closed on Monday, June 10th for the delivery of the final pieces of our Skate Park! The splash pad will remain open but extra caution is advised as there is a construction zone nearby.
