Heading into Memorial Day Weekend. We have a large selection of cemetery urns, patio planters, flowers to make your yard pop with color and vegetable plants. The columbine are in full bloom. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday !!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms, Mother figures, and special people in your lives. We have a little bit of everything so you will be sure to find something your Mom (or you) will love. Gift certificates are available. We are open today until 5 pm.

Happy Spring!! We are excited for the growing season to begin. Today is our official first day of opening. Thank you to everyone who has already stopped in to say hi, look at the beautiful flowers, and even pick out Mother's Day Baskets before their favorite is unavailable. We have a large selection of hanging baskets, bedding plants and non-vining vegetable plants. More varieties of vegetables will be available Ina few weeks. Hope to see you soon !

A week from today I'll be with buckets of flowers to help you make beautiful arrangements. We will have snacks and drinks and a big tent to keep off the rain. (Little Salmon Farm also has the best sweet corn and tomatoes at their farm stand)

We still have a beautiful assortment of perennials to choose from. Many are in bloom now or will be soon. Clematis vines, Hollyhock, Coneflower, Foxglove, Delphinium, Corral Bells, Shasta Daisy and Bee balm just to name a few. Have room for a bell pepper or tomato plant? Well started plants are available. Need to fill a hole in the flower garden? Beatiful annuals in single pots will do the trick. Add a little splash of color to your yard.

We are at Selkirk State Park today. Gorgeous day, free admission to the park, many awesome vendors, free animal show. Stop out and enjoy!

Flowers. We got more hanging baskets and assorted flowers to brighten your yard. The greenhouse is open now and hopefully we will also be at .the Pulaski Farmer's Market tonight (weather permitting). We have more FUSHCIA for the hummingbirds to enjoy !

Good Morning, a cool rainy day is perfect for planting. We still have some nicely started vegetable plants, garden fillers and perennials. Open today from 11 to 4.

The Greenhouse Effect still has a nice selection of hanging baskets, now on sale for $20 or 2/$35. Ready to plant your garden or fill in a couple of bare spots ? All six packs and single veggies and herbs are $3 or 2/5. We have: tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, collards and eggplant; Dill, thyme, oregano, sage, mint, lemon balm, rosemary and basil.

Open Monday through Saturday 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. We look forward to seeing you soon !
