Been a busy summer ☀️ here at “Applewood” so posting some pics of recent guests. These faces make our day!! ❤️🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾❤️

These two beautiful German Shepherds are littermates here for training to learn to be better dogs for their owners and to learn to behave around each other too! Willow and Nova live separately but are owned by mother and son so they get to play and see each other often.
Usually it’s endless play and their ears suddenly don’t work anymore. Not anymore!! Hannah has been working with these girls for just under two weeks and has started to integrate combined lessons into their day to day training. 🐾

Danny is starting to struggle and deteriorate in the kennel and needs a home ASAP.

He is a perfect boy for Jack Russell Terrier lovers... he's got that drive and energy. He would be excellent at Barn Hunts or Flyball!

Danny needs a home all to himself, so he gets all the attention. He's smart as a whip and knows lots of commands. He would be very easy to teach lots of tricks to.

We pray for his sake that someone comes for him soon.

We’d like to let everyone know that we are booking up for boarding and training this summer. July is completely booked up and we have very few dates left in August for boarding. Training is booking into the end of August, early September! Bear with us as we’ve been getting hit hard with phone calls and boarding/training inquiries. We are trying our best to get back to everyone in a timely manner. We hope you all enjoy your summer 🍉🏝️

🐶Our Dog of the Day is Callie Mae!🐶

Our dog of the day is Buddy! His nicknames include: Buckey, Buckwheat, Buckwheatmis Prime, and so many more. Buddy’s favorite things to do at the kennel include chewing on our fish benebone and running next to all of the playful puppies with his bunk mate, Finnley!

Buddy would like to inform everyone that Applewood is going to be closed December 24-26th 2024. We will be taking bookings for before and after but cannot take a booking that runs through those dates. Sorry for any inconvenience!
