Absolutely gorgeous weekend coming up July 27&28 and we have plenty of availability here at The Scheppard’s Hook Motel located at 8438 State Route 3 Pulaski NY. We are open every day and all holidays.

Excellent location close to the beaches, it’s under a five minute drive to Sandy Island State Beach, under ten minutes to Selkirk Shores, an 11 minute driver to Southwicks Beach State Park and super close to all the camps along this section of Route 3.

Rooms all have excellent air conditioners. Each room is private ground level entry. Every room has its own bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. Smart TV with local channels and free WiFi. Appliances in every room, a five cup coffee maker with reusable screen filter(bring your own coffee grounds), microwave, dorm sized refrigerator. We provide all linens and towels, we don’t provide any soap other than hand soap.

There is a fire pit with free firewood. There’s a picnic area with the charcoal grill, bring your own charcoal. There’s a screenhouse for guests to enjoy with solar lights. There are co****le boards in the screenhouse for guest use (put them back where you got them after using). All use of property is at your own risk.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and affordable. $75 a night cash discount price for one person, $85 for two, $95 for three. We don’t charge for kids under 18. For any other form of payment add $11 a night. For Salmon Season rates add $10 to the price each night, please note we have NO weekends left for Salmon Season 2024, weekends are sold out.
We have two pet friendly rooms, cleaning fee for pets $25.

The Scheppard’s Hook Motel has three rooms available this weekend 7/12/24 & 7/13/24 and our bunkhouse.
Rooms are $75 for one person, $85 for two, $95 for three. The bunkhouse sleeps 10-12 and is $150 for four people, $160 for 5, caps out at $200 for 10-12 people. It is private party only, we don’t put strangers together in it.

AMENITIES :
Each room has private ground level entry with parking directly by the room.
All rooms have their own TV. The TV’s are smart TVs with local antenna and free WiFi . We do not have cable. You can log into your streaming devices but please note if there’s a special broadcast or game you want to watch it may not come in on our TVs.
Each room has its own private bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. Perfect water pressure, public water and lots of hot water.
We provide all linens and towels we do not provide any soaps, toiletries or shampoos. Please bring your own.
Appliances:
Every room has a small refrigerator, a small microwave and a small 5 cup coffee pot. We do not provide the coffee, bring your own coffee grounds. It is a 5 cup coffee maker with a reusable screen filter. We do not provide any cream or sugar or to go cups or disposable cups of any kind but there are reusable coffee cups in every room.
Every room has its own heat and air conditioning unit.
There are wader hooks outside of every room. There are hooks in the room and hooks in the bathroom for clothing.

There is a fire pit with firewood for guest use. There is a screenhouse which was newly built summer of 2023. We also have a picnic area with charcoal grill for guests. Bring your own charcoal please.

RULES:There is no smoking of any kind in any room or the screenhouse. If you use ma*****na we ask that you keep it in an odor proof container where the smell isn’t getting into the room or disturbing others.
No damaging foot wear of any kind in any room, no korkers, no creepers, no cleats.
No fish or fish parts in any room. No cooking fish in any room.
PLEASE RESPECT QUIET TIMES 9pm to 8am. this includes refraining from loud talking when arriving or when leaving to go fishing. It also include not blaring TVs or music during these times. And just being respectful of other guests so everyone has a good stay.
Please DRIVE SLOW in our driveway AT ALL TIMES, we have a dog and our grandkids are around frequently.
Absolutely no illicit drug use will ever be tolerated on our property.
I realize this sounds like we’re hardasses but we are pretty laid back and we’re excellent to our customers. We just want the best experience for our guests and we want this place that we’ve built to remain in nice condition for everyone.

Everyone is required to pay when they check in.

$25 pet fee, per pet per stay, not per night. We have some rooms in which we allow pets. When bringing a pet please be sure that it has proper flea control, is up to date on shots and is well behaved.Most people that travel with dogs are responsible and the dogs are great.

THERE IS ALSO A NEW POLICY as of last year:
Whenever you make a reservation for Salmon Season, you will be charged a $25 NON REFUNDABLE deposit. Whether you make your reservation far in advance, call when you’re an hour away or just show up at the door, plan on paying the deposit, please. DEPOSIT IS CREDITED TO YOUR STAY.

Cancelation policy:
Please give as much notice as you can when something comes up and you need to cancel. 72 hours notice preferred.
If you no show/ no call, give zero notice of canceling or cancel short notice we will charge your card and you will be asked not to return.
If you cancel your first trip ever here with little to no notice we reserve the right to cancel any other reservations you might have.
If you are a guest that has canceled several reservations in the past, again, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and fill it with someone more reliable.

The pagoda is hand carved and was given to me by a very sweet customer. It’s one of my most treasured possessions.

Before and after. Room 7 remodel. This room was long overdue. It was my least favorite room, now it’s a favorite. I like the peaceful feeling of the sage green and gray. Room 7 now features two pillow top queen size beds. Like all the other rooms it has a small dorm sized refrigerator, a five cup coffee maker (bring your own coffee grounds), and a small microwave. It has a Roku smart tv with local antenna channels. We have free WiFi, with an excellent mesh system. Huge shout out to Nick Thomas for replacing the old windows in the motel and house with these beautiful, new, efficient windows!!!
We are very excited about this improvement. The new windows look so nice, they really brightened our place up. We’re so happy with the upgrades and we hope our customers are happy with it also.
This was such a much needed improvement in our 8th year as the owners.
