The best strategy any ministry can have is to be HEALTHY.

AG & I took over a few months back, and it has been SO MUCH fun. With anything that is new, there is a lot to learn.

Our goal at the beginning of this was to learn the ministry, meet the people, and then implement change where we thought necessary. The funny thing is, the ministry has been growing & attracting a lot of new people already, and we technically haven’t implemented anything.

I was having a conversation with one of our leaders this week and I found myself saying, “Where are all these people coming from?” - and his answer is something I’ve been thinking about the last few days. He just said, “People are just inviting all their friends”.

I don’t ever want to go so caught up in analytics and strategy that I forget that WE DON’T BUILD MINISTRIES. God does.

God is not a part of what we are doing. We are a part of what GOD is doing. And the reality is, if we are healthy, then our ministry will be healthy, and people will always want to be a part of a healthy culture.

Seasons are marked by beginnings and ends. Spring always follows Winter… and sometimes Christians use this terminology as a scapegoat to justify places they’ve put themselves in life 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sometimes God will say things that we don’t want to hear… and our willingness to accept that and respond in faith will result in the measure of clarity his voice has in our life.

The more you respond… the closer you get

The more you ignore… the more distant that voice sounds.

I can’t remember what life was like before you, and I love that. I love our life of adventure.

For something to renew… something must expire. One of the wrestles of the Christian life is realizing that emotions and feelings can LIE to us, and this current culture only perpetuates that lie.

Renewing your mind requires that we leave behind patterns of thinking that don’t align with Scripture… because if we don’t, then we will slowly weave our own agenda and desires into our faith.

Everything perfect happens in God’s timing. This is an exciting next season for us as we are stepping in to lead .

has done such a good job leading the young people of Motion Church, and it’s such a blessing to be able to be passed the baton to love on this group. Last night was the first night I got to preach, and it already feels like home.

The Future is Now & It Takes 2 will still continue, and we believe that these will all work together to help create a lasting impact!

In 2021 I had doubts about what God had called me to do…

I felt called to preach & teach online just a year ago, but hadn’t seen any fruit or growth from it. And there were constantly the thoughts of:

- why would people listen or follow you.
- You have 0 credibility
- Just go the safe route and do something else.

I was actually considering just stopping altogether. It felt embarrassing to post things that no one liked or engaged with. Adrienne would actually come home to me so discouraged. But I remember there was a moment when I was talking about quitting and she looked at me and said, “If God called you to it.. then that’s all that matters. You gotta figure it out”

So I did. I prayed harder than I had before, believed, and started putting in the actual work to see how I could succeed in what I felt like God was calling me to do!!

Fast forward a couple years and it’s insane what God has done.
-Over 100k followers/subscribers on all 3 platforms
-Getting the opportunity to preach the gospel online and across the US.
-Building an online platform and network of Christian believers.

What was the change that happened? Here’s 3 things that worked for me:

1. Submit to the authority of God and actually be honest about where you’re at and what you want. If that’s not right then you’ll go nowhere.
2. I humbled myself and became teachable to those that were way ahead of me. I got a great mentor and assumed I knew nothing.
3. I listened to every single thing he told me and worked as hard as I could to implement them asap.

The reason I’m posting this is to encourage someone out there that may be in the position I was in… feeling like God called you to the online space & then questioning it because you’ve hit what seems like a dead end. Don’t quit - work is required but there is no reason you can’t have a true impact with the dream God has given you!
