We have some exciting news over here at our little corner of Dung Beetle Ranch. We are expanding! We have opened another store space . Come on down and check out some more great merchandise from us at the Blue Orchid. This new area will be featuring more restored vintage furniture and our handmade woodworking items. Our shop is overflowing from all the great buys we have found over the summer. Jason and I have been working our little hearts out, hunting estate sales and crawling through all kinds of spider webs in barns just in order to find you some really great pieces to restore!

I threw in a Halloween reference for all of those goobers like me that are jut waiting for Hocus Pocus 2 to come out…In the meantime come on down to check out all of the fun pumpkins and fall items we have in our other booth. It is downright SPICEY or maybe SPOOKY…Ok, I am not quite sure what it is. I will stop writing now!! Hahaha.

We also have some fantastic sales going on for you, our friends. Come on down while the sale items are still in stock. The sales are really, really good so the merchandise is moving out quickly. Don’t miss out on the great deals!
We are also featuring 2 new furniture items we just brought into the shop TODAY. The first one is an antique dough table-island (it has locking wheels) and has been refurbished. It is super cute and a steal at $250. We have it priced to move. The second piece is an entry table that is handmade with reclaimed solid wood from a barn Jason pulled the wood out of this summer-$175. Let us know if you are interested in either of these items or come see them in person at the Blue Orchid- in Woodland.

Please come on down this Saturday to the Blue Orchid to check out the awesome sidewalk sale that is going on. We are putting out our barnwood planter boxes in the sale. Both the raised 24” x 24” (originally priced $85/now$65) and the 16” x 16”(originally priced $65/now $45) size are going to be included. Hurry on down, first come first serve. We have had several people interested in them since we have discounted them from their original price significantly!

We have some VERY exciting news to share with all of you, our DB Ranch Friends (FYI-If you look at that quickly it looks like ranch fries...hahaha-I might need a lunch break). You can now purchase our products, custom woodworking and furniture line from a super cute new store, Blue Orchid in Woodland WA. We are still filling our booth so come and see us often as we will be updating it with more and more new products for your home.
And if that wasn’t totally awesome enough, we really love partnering with and supporting local crafters and artists. We are proud to announce that we will be carrying Cozy Home Candles in our booth. Bethany from .candles is a super nurse by day and a fellow artist. Nurses are some of my favorite people so come on down to help support all of our efforts. She has amazing new scents that come out seasonally so keep an eye on our booth. We will be keeping up with her releases to bring you the latest and GREATEST of her line!
Let us know if you need any custom work done. We are available and open to take orders now. We are starting to get booked up so get your orders in quickly. We are anticipating this upcoming holiday season to be amazing for custom work! We want to bring you only the BEST!

We are super excited to see ya’ll this coming weekend Farm for Farm Days! It is going to be GREAT weather this time…YAY! There are a lot of vendors so come prepared. I have seen some of the previews of the items coming and it is going to AWESOME!
Bring your cash as the WI-FI is spotty on the farm and many of us do not have offline use of our Point of Sale check-out systems to take debit/visa.

We are so excited to be able to meet some more of you my friends at the next Farm Days Event coming up very soon July 2-3rd at Pomeroy Farm again. It was a wet one this last event but we sure are grateful for all of you that came out to see us and the other vendors. We are looking forward to some great sunny weather this time!

I may or may not have spend more of our earning at the fabulous other vendors booths than we took in but it was so worth it. They were soooo amazing! You will not be disappointed to come see all of the talented vendors that Pomeroy has lined up for the July event! I can feel my pocket-book emptying out already…don’t tell Jason!

We are having to restock some items that were flying out of our booth. It seems this years “hot ticket” products are the hand poured cement items. We will be making sure we have a full stock when we see you in July!

Well hello there! We are back. Contrary to popular belief, I did NOT die under a mountain of spray paint cans and Jason did not asphyxiate while I was using sed cans. Rude assumptions…almost true but not quite! I can also report that we both have not died from overwork and extreme exhaustion. It has felt like we might this past year but alas we have made it through. I bet some of you have felt pretty similar, huh?
Guess why…
At times I have to pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming. Friends, We bought our very first home together. It is on some fantastic land here in SW Washington. We have been busy little rancher bees renovating and fixing it up. That is one of the best reasons to be exhausted…and happy at the same time! I love getting to work with my partner in crime. He is a definite keeper (as long as there is coffee involved…and PIZZA) I do have a few stipulations. No one said I didn’t come with a few warning labels. Hahaha-ask the kids!
After getting our little woodshop set-up we settled into getting some thing ready to go to market. Here are a few photos of our items that we have ready now. There will be more coming.
We are going to be at coming live and in person on June 4-5th-that is Saturday and Sunday at Pomeroy Farm. We will be selling at their Farm Days each 1st weekend this summer also July 2-3 and again on August 6-7. We would love to meet you in person. That would be a great place to pick up any of our large pieces that you might be interested in and check out the other great vendors that are going to be there. There is very limited cell service and WI-FI. So if you are purchasing a large item please contact us ahead of time to complete the purchase if you don’t have cash. The farm may NOT have the ability for us to use our PayPal or Venmo service.

What should we do with 2x4's and fence boards? In need of a bar or buffet table? We needed both. We added wheels so it would function anywhere on the deck. Did I mention this is a good way to hide unwanted electrical and plumbing...
It's summer and we are doing more at home this year so let's enjoy our space!

Ready for an easy project for the birds? The Dung Beetle Ranch Duo turned a 14 in. plastic plant saucer with some textured spray paint and old fashioned cream can into a bird bath.

Turn a basic table into a functioning table on wheels. This will be reused in the candle shop. Keep a lookout for the holidays.

The Dung Beetle Ranch partners completed the storage shed project of “putting lipstick on a pig”today....don’t look too close.😉
Also finished my wooden flag that I started a year ago and didn’t get to finish until now, life got in the way, that happens sometimes.
But now, with some enthusiastic encouragement from a great partner in crime it is complete!

We laughed and laughed when we saw it because it represented how we kind of saw ourselves as I was trying to sort though a 3 generation estate full of stuff-a.k.a. crap-in some peoples mind (thus the dung beetle) and my ever patience but always funny partner's sense of humor! Always keep each other laughing...even with tears running down your face!😊
