Here we did lip blushing to give my client a little pop of color in her lips. Healed results will be very natural-looking—about 50% lighter and softer. Results last 1-3+ years ❤️

This is a great question! On average, I find my clients desire a touch up on their PMU once 6-8 weeks after their initial session, then about every 2-3 years. Everyone is different and how the pigment fades is based largely on individual factors such as skin type and lifestyle.

My philosophy is “less is more” when it comes to permanent makeup, so until the pigment has faded significantly, I recommend skipping the touch up until it is! The major key to soft and natural-looking healed results is not oversaturating 👍

This technique gets its name from the soft looking healed results that resemble a brow powder makeup! ➡️ We’re able to achieve these results with a specific technique which differs from techniques used with old school brow tattoos. While this is technically still a tattoo, it’s much more natural-looking and has better long-term healed results than a fully saturated brow.

👉What is it? Ombré powder gets its name due to the soft “powdery” shading created by implanting a custom-colored pigment with a single needle on a cosmetic tattoo machine. The color is built up slowly in layers, giving a more natural appearance than a traditional brow tattoo would.

How long does it last? Results last for years with touch ups typically being done every 1-3 years to keep the color looking fresh ✨

We only had to trim about 6 brow hairs in order to achieve this new shape 🏅🙌 Making minor tweaks can make a huge impact!

The technique done here was ombré powder. A carefully mapped pre-draw was done taking into account bone + muscle structure and existing brow shape, and once my client approved the new shape, I “dusted” a custom-colored pigment into the skin with a cosmetic tattoo machine! The whole appointment took about 2.5 hours.

Healed results will be lighter + softer than when freshly done and will continue to fade slowly over time. Touch ups are typically done at 6-10 weeks from the initial session to perfect the brows, then every 1-3 years to keep the color looking fresh.

📝Swelling is normal after your appointment and usually goes away within 24-48 hours. The color appears bold at first but heals about 50% lighter

When people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was an artist. 🎨 As the years went on, I started to lose that side of myself and ended up going to school for a “safer” career in dentistry. The powder technique differs from a traditional brow tattoo because we aren’t fully saturating, we’re building up color by “dusting” it in. This creates a more natural look that ages much better over time 🤌

A form of cosmetic tattooing where a pigment is dusted into the lips to create definition, symmetry and fullness 💄

The initial appointment takes about 3 hours start to finish. It involves:
1. Consultation
2. Mapping of the lip shape
3. Color selection
4. Tattooing process
5. Going over aftercare & photos
*A full aftercare kit is included with every appointment

A follow up session is available after 6-10 weeks at a discounted rate for those who wish to achieve a bolder look or correct any imperfections after healing, but this session is not required and oftentimes not needed as long as desired results are achieved.

The pigment fades over time and requires touch ups to keep the color looking fresh. Touch ups take about 2 hours and are typically done every 1-3 years (this depends heavily on the individual’s skin type, health/medications, lifestyle and environmental factors)
