Sharing meaningful time together as a bible class, with Mrs. Timothy, students had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather during a walk and talk session. What a blessing to hear students share important truths and lessons they learned in Romans! Thanking the Lord for the strong fellowship among students as they shared and discussed The Word! 🙏💙
We have an amazing group of admin assistants across our district; this campus is particularly grateful for Krista, Bethany and Kristen. They work so hard on keeping everybody informed, cared for, and supported at our school! We are so grateful for them. Seventh grade students were able to socialize during a fun after-school event hosted by our amazing PfC parents! There was pizza, games, popcorn, and a movie to enjoy together!! The kids loved the opportunity to just “hang out” and have fun at the school they love!
Students in Ms. Rachael Davis’ U.S. History class are learning about the three branches of government! They were challenged by Ms. Davis to get creative in their poster creation— to use purposeful layout and design elements within their display. Ms. Davis teaches with a desire for relationship and empowerment that is seen in every interaction. Thankful to have her amazing teaching talents at CCS!
CCS junior high students have been working hard in preparation of the upcoming performance of Charlotte’s Web! You can catch a show February 8—10 at the Junior High School. You could feel the presence of the Lord in the combined Junior High and High School Christmas chapel the final week of school! Beautiful worship lead by students and followed by guest speaker, Bryan Halferty. He is the Lead Pastor of Anchor Church in Tacoma and is currently working on a book called Terrible Beauty, which is a vulnerable, comic, and--hopefully--spiritually formative resource for church planters, founders, and other entrepreneurs. He had an incredible and relevant message to share about coping and Jesus! Merry Christmas CCS! ♥️
