It’s time to give away some CCS merch to our amazing school community! (You must be currently enrolled to qualify for the prize.)

The winner will be selected and announced on July 3. You can pick up your prize at the District Office on that day (July 3) or the week after.

Our theatre production of The Sound of Music begins this week!

Classroom happenings…

Mrs. Kira Davis leads her Geography and Washington State History classroom with clear direction and care for student learning! Mrs. Davis engaged her students with well-prepared questions and directives throughout the lesson. Students were able to learn about George Washington Bush and his journey along the Oregon Trail, as well as how boundaries and settlements were established in Washington State. Students watched a short video about the Oregon Trail and were challenged to prepare five pieces of information collected from watching the video. To reflect on their learning, students completed a virtual worksheet.

Our community appreciates the dedication to teaching these future leaders, Mrs. Davis!

Layla, who was cast as Fern in the junior high theatre production of Charlotte’s Web, is excited to share what they have in store February 8—10, 2024!

“You should come watch because we worked hard to put together a show you will enjoy!” Layla shared. The cast has been staying after school over the last month to prepare and practice together! “I love when we get really close to opening night because the show comes together!”

Great win today for our JH girls basketball team in their first game of the season. The future is bright with this crew!!

Classroom happenings….

Mr. Jonathan Fuson, a Cascade Christian Junior High teacher, brings fun to the classroom with a useful platform—individual whiteboards! He is always eager to adapt to the needs of his students. This alternate way of working through and sharing solutions to problems in class is already well received. Class culture is cultivated with care by meeting each student where they are in their academic needs. Students who raised their hands were greeted with a one-on-one interaction from Mr. Fuson. He is very attentive to listen thoroughly to the question being asked and works to help the student attain a solution.

Thank you, Mr. Fuson, for being an amazing math teacher at Cascade Christian Schools!

Mrs. Timothy’s history classroom led with passion for the past!

The class had student presentations on famous historical figures. The students challenged one another questions and answers at the end. Students were well-prepared in PowerPoint as well as research shared.

Mrs. Timothy creates a space to empower young students and equip them with knowledge in her classroom! 💙

Lasting change comes from changed desires…changed desires come from a heart that knows & receives God’s amazing love!
