Important Parking Info! ️

Parking at Elks is limited. We ask everyone to carpool as much as possible if you are attending Championship Day. Parking is not allowed in the Golf Course parking lot, it is for Golf patrons only. Also, please remember that parking along the fence, near the dumpster is prohibited, cars parked there will be towed. Please observe all signs in the Elks parking lot, especially the speed limit signs. We appreciate your cooperation!

The top 2 teams from the regular season (Blue Jays & Red Sox) will receive awards.
The teams in the championship game will receive awards for the End of Season Tournament.

10:45 am - T-ball Exhibition

T-ball players will have the chance to play a short game on Elks field. All T-ball players will receive a medal.
T-ball coaches: please pick up your medals from the PA booth behind home plate.

Noon - Rookies Championship

Today, on Memorial Day Weekend, we take a moment to remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. These heroes, many no older than the players on our fields, fought for the very freedoms that allow us to enjoy this great game of baseball.

Let's carry their courage and dedication with us throughout the season. Let's play with heart, hustle, and respect for the game they helped defend.

Here are some ways our young athletes can honor our fallen heroes:

* Moment of silence: Before your next game, hold a brief moment of silence to remember those who served.
* Wear red, white, and blue: Encourage players and coaches to wear their red, white, and blue to show their patriotism.
* Learn about a hero: Have each player research a local veteran and share their story with the team.

Let's use this Memorial Day to pay tribute to those who gave their all, and inspire the next generation to be strong, courageous, and grateful.

One of the Long-time PCR Baseball Sponsors is hosting a golf tournament this summer for a great cause. Take a look at the flyer and the information below about the great event. The proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Campaign the Fight Against Breast Cancer!

"After my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 at the age of 36 we started a charity golf tournament to raise money and awareness about breast cancer. Since we started, we have raised and donated $45,681.62. The money we raise goes directly to the ACS Making Strides campaign to support research and awareness around western Washington. We are looking for Sponsors, Players, and Raffle prize donations. The golf tournament is for everyone, from beginners to pros. It is in a scramble format (1. A scramble means that all team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best and mark the spot with a tee or ball marker. 2. The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot.) This allows everyone to have a good time. Lunch is included with the registration fee, along with fabulous raffle prizes. The tournament will be held at DuPont's beautiful Eagles Pride Golf Course on June 29th, 2024. Shotgun starts at 9:00am, with lunch right after."

PCR Families - The Elks have reminded us to slow down in the parking lot. There is a lot of activity happening at the Elks with twice as many kids walking around -- please keep speed to a minimum.

Also, vehicles that are parked in Handicapped spots must have a handicap placard or handicap license plate visible at all times.

After this weekend of continued rain, our fields took a pretty bad beating.

All games have been canceled tonight.

Rookies A's vs. Astros has been moved to Friday, May 3rd.

All other Rained Out games for the season will be posted tonight in GameChanger.

Hey PBRCR Families - we wanted to remind all teams, families, and Fans. We can not use any of the parking at the golf course for ANY PCR activities (Games or Practices)

If you have a Game or Practice at the Elks Field or the Lower Elks Field, please make sure to only park in the Elks Parking lots. Please reach out to your coaches if you have any questions. Even with multiple reminders from the coaches and the board, we are still finding a lot of people parking at the golf course.

Please do not use the Golf Course Cart Path to get down to Lower Elks as well. That path is meant for Golf carts and not foot traffic.

After many years of tough work and long hours of labor, The Lower Elks Field hosted its first game today! It will be an axillary practice field for our Majors teams, but more importantly, this will be the new home of our T-Ball and Coach Pitch divisions.

We want to thank the many PCR Board members and family members who contributed to making this a reality. We also wanted to give a big shout-out to Washington Rock for the generous donation of multiple truckloads of dirt that made this dream a reality.

Due to current field conditions and weather predictions, games tomorrow for the following games have been canceled:

- All Majors Divisions games
- All Minors Divisions games

Other games will be determined throughout tonight.

He also predicted that the Minors Division Registration will close this weekend! If you have not signed up, get your kids signed up this weekend.
