✔️ Liberty Bank Success Story: Protecting Our Customers
Last month, an elderly customer reported to our main office that his computer had been hacked.
He received pop-ups claiming his bank accounts were compromised and was instructed to withdraw cash from his account.
After being denied cash and given a Bank check, he grew suspicious and sought guidance at another branch.
Our teammates identified the scam and swiftly re-deposited his funds into new accounts, preventing further fraud.
🌟 Meet Liberty Bank Torch Carrier Julissa Estrada. 🌟
A customer recently wrote us to share how Julissa provided care and support to her elderly mother. "The thoughtfulness and patience Julissa demonstrated in dealing with my mother exemplified not only customer service at its best, but more importantly, community as well," the customer stated. "Julissa is truly an asset to your team and an individual you can be proud to have representing Liberty Bank.”
Julissa told us that "The best part of my job is I get to bring my love for my community to work with me each day."
Outside of work, Julissa is extremely family-focused. "My family is the most important thing in my life and I try to be as involved in their interests as I can." She volunteers with her son's football team, coaches her daughter's soccer team, serves as a Girl Scout Troop mom, and volunteers with Junior Achievement.
We're so grateful to work with Julissa, who embodies what it means to .

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend 🇺🇸
The Liberty Bank team had the privilege to partner with House of Heroes Connecticut to honor and assist U.S. Air Force veteran, SGT Kurt Neumann in making safety and accessibility repairs to his home.
As an Assignment Specialist Officer, it was his job to "handle everything" for multiple senior officers. "If I had to do it all over again, I would and stay for 30 years," SGT Neumann says. "I enjoyed serving my country."
The Liberty Bank team and House of Heroes came together to help power wash his home, rebuild his damaged fence, construct a small ramp, install a basement door, and tidy up his entire yard. A leather armchair was also donated by the Lending team at Liberty Bank.
On behalf of House of Heroes and Liberty Bank, thank you, SGT Neumann, for your service to our country.
🇺🇸Today and every day, we honor and remember the heroes who gave their all for our freedom.
Thank you for your courage and sacrifice. ♥️
David Glidden, President and CEO of Liberty Bank, emphasizes the evolving demands of consumers.
“Everyone is trying to deliver that Amazon experience, and it’s of great importance today for a bank to stay up with what the consumer’s expectations are — and that’s higher, probably, than what banks have historically delivered.”

Planting seeds of gratitude: The Shepherd Home's Garden Club blooms with support from the Lending Team 🌱 🌻
Last year the Veterans at the Shepherd Home wanted to start their first ever garden club. The Lending Team got together and purchased all the dirt, tools, and plants needed to start their new club. It was a huge success!
This year the Veterans added some additional vegetables, flowers, and a rain barrel to their wish list and once again the Lending Team came through.
Liberty Bank will be closed on Monday, May 27th, in observance of Memorial Day.
We honor and remember those who have served.
