Here we go again! I’m going in for shoulder surgery (right shoulder this time) on Jan. 17th. I’ll be off work for about 6 weeks or so, hoping to be back in business the beginning of March. If you need sharpening, contact me as soon as possible.

As of June 1st there will be a price increase for sharpening shears. It will now be $25 per shear. It’s been 6 years since my last increase and unfortunately due to rising costs it’s necessary now to increase my price. Thank you for your understanding.

I’m currently booking for the week of March 8th and beyond.

And just a note, it’s come to my attention (once again) that another sharpener is saying that I’ve retired. That is definitely not the case and when I eventually do decide to retire (not for a long, long time!) I will certainly let everyone know ahead of time. So if any other sharpener(s) tell you that I’m not sharpening anymore, please don’t believe them and just check with me directly. Thanks!

UPDATE: Recovery from my shoulder surgery is going well! I’ve been going to physical therapy and that’s been helping. Hoping to be back on the road and sharpening again in the next few weeks. For those of you that have contacted me, I’ve got you on a list and I’ll be contacting you soon to set up a visit for sharpening.
