We plan to retain heavily this coming kidding season, but will be offering any available animals to our intrest list first. As usual, if looking for a buckling, please notify us early so we can keep your needs in mind as they are born.

We have a ringneck pheasant pair and a group of chukkar/partridge (2 females/2males) available. PM for info. All hens are laying.

We went on a short trip and I forgot to tell the farm sitter to look under the cat litter box lid for eggs. 😂 we never get this many eggs from this pen of old ladies. 🤦‍♀️

🎶One of these things... is not like the others🎵🤣 the grow out BLRW are looking good. Lots of roosters. 🙄 this white as snow silkie showgirl cracks me up, all my silkies are blue/black. 🤷‍♀️🤔 Easton named it king chick when it was a hatchling.

Let the fun begin. Does are all in with their Bucks for breeding season! We will post more as we confirm breedings. Hopefully it will cool off just a little bit and we can get some updated photos, but im not going to hold my breath. We almost died of heat stroke just getting them all settled in their seperate pens. 😮‍💨🥵 As I watch these pens, I may be making some does available as bred does, so keep your eye out.

Red Chile, bean and cheese burritos for dinner tonight. The secret ingredient? Shredded Muscovy is the meat. We can't tell the difference. Yummy!!

We have a huge group of Muscovy ducklings this year and would like to reduce them by half at least. Currently available as strait run. Many fun colors available. No adults available. We DO also have fertile hatching eggs available for sale as well, as the hens refuse to stop laying.

More chicks hatched today to add to the brooders. I love this time of year in Arizona for raising chicks, strait from the incubator to outside with no need for heat. The easiest time of year to brood a bunch of babies.

Fun to have bottle kids again. 😍 All our retained girls are weaned.

We are excited to welcome Wingwood Farm Icon Aditi (doe kid), Wingwood Farm Fish Artie (buck kid) and a cute little bonus M's Sagebrush Doeling that we still need to name. 😍😍 Please excuse the quick poses, it's hot and it was a long drive. Can't wait to watch these kids mature!

Show me Golden hour, but make it with ducks and geese. 😍 the sebastapol geese have adopted the youngest clutch of ducklings and are co-parenting with their muscovy mom.

Another clutch of Muscovy has hatched. 😅 this brings us up to 38 ducklings running amuck. One nest of eggs left to go. I love raising ducklings in the flock, the waterfowl are all watching out for or at least tolerating them all. The chickens even Don't mind them running in and out of their pens.

The ducklings are doing well. They have integrated right into the flock and are running around living their best lives while their moms chase them down. 😍

The pheasant's toner cartridge malfunctioned today. Got a blue egg. 🤷‍♀️

20 new muscovy ducklings hatched yesterday and today, a few more eggs in there trying. There are also 4 more nests being incubated. I finally said enough is enough and cut them off, we're now collecting new eggs laid. Duckling army 2.0 loading! 😂🤦‍♀️

The first batch of chukar hatched. I didn't expect them until next week, so apparently they incubate for 23 days. Noted. 😂

The first hatch in our new incubators has netted us some chicks. Check out the 2 tiny showgirl silkies. 😅 More eggs are already processing through as well. Chick TV is a hit for the Jr ranch hands and the cats alike. The brooder plate finally came, so now I can get the giant quail brooder in the kitchen back out.🤣 these chicks will move outside in a couple days in prep for the next wave of hatching to come. Chickens: back in business.

The first round of chukkar and pheasant are next week. The brooder plate will not fit in the tote we got, so desperate times call for desperate measures and we have an outdoor quail brooder in the kitchen for the night, until the smaller brooder plate arrives on the amazon truck. The Jr. Ranch hands would be HIGHLY offended if we don't give them a few days of chicks inside, and i'm not one to deny them their joy for tiny baby animals. 🤷‍♀️

Tis the season...to make more protein! The muscovy are doing their thing outside and the incubators are making us more quail, chicken, chukkar and pheasant inside. The goose is making a bunch of muscovy as well. There may be a few goose eggs in there somewhere too. 😂🤷‍♀️ her sister is very broody as well, but I have to find her another house, all the inns are full.

Nothin to see here... Just 96 ears of corn and a 22lb box of peaches. 😅🤷‍♀️ my favorite time of year, it means fall is coming. I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend. 🤣
