Quincy Library Song Circle: If you liked the music at the Farmers Market, you should go to the “First Thursday” acoustic song circle at the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy. The next one will be December 7th from 6 to 8 pm. You can play solo or lead the group in a jam or sing-along.
Singers, Musicians, Poets, and Listeners are invited to share an evening of acoustic music and spoken word. Life-long Quincy resident, Mike Delaney, will host an acoustic song circle. Performers will take turns playing songs or reciting poems. You might call this a cèilidh (Scottish) or a céilí (Irish), both pronounced “KAY-lee”, but everyone is welcome for this family-friendly gathering. We will encourage a listening room atmosphere and want to give everyone who is willing a chance to perform.
For this month, we will be in the beautiful Richardson Room, which will remind you of being in Hogwarts.
