Starting December 1, 2024, the Blessing Employer Clinic at 24th & Broadway will be closed on Saturdays. Any acute cases should visit our Blessing Express Clinic at 420 N. 34th Street in Quincy.

Our team at Blessing Health Hannibal Walk-in Clinic is also available on weekends from 9 am - 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. When it comes to labs, services at Blessing Health 4800 Maine are open 8 am - 4 pm on Saturdays. Just remember to flash that BWAW card upon registration! 🏥⏰🗓️

Clients of Horizons Food Pantry in Quincy will find some more choices on the shelves after a donation by Blessing Hospital’s Facilities and Security teams. The members of those departments donated a total of $420, which Pam DeJaynes of the Maintenance department magically transformed into two tables-full of non-perishable items for Horizons clients.

This is the third year for the food collection. Pam says it has grown each year and with inflation eating away at everyone’s budget, her coworkers stepped up to meet the challenge this year.

Did you know that we have a group of nurses specially trained to work with sexual assault survivors?

This group is part of our Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) team from Blessing Hospital’s Emergency Center. They were among the groups recognized at the recent Advocacy Network for Children fundraiser for its role in working with children.

Members of this team are registered nurses who have been specially trained to provide comprehensive care to sexual assault patients. They provide prompt, compassionate care while preserving dignity and reducing psychological trauma. SANEs are key members of interdisciplinary Sexual Assault Response Teams which include SANEs, sexual assault advocates, police, and prosecutors, who work together to care for the survivor and hold the offender accountable in the criminal justice system.

All of us at Blessing Health add our thanks to this team for the exceptional work they do in emotional circumstances for those who experience sexual assault in the communities we serve.💙
