MilSim West Presents: THE CASPIAN STRIKE at Guardian Centers in Perry, GA on December 9-11, 2022.

The Super Bowl event, with our unique immersive non-stop 40 hour format, returns this year to Guardian Centers, one of the premier urban warfare centers for the United States. Less than two hours from Atlanta, Guardian Centers has over 16 blocks of realistic urban terrain to include over 80 different structures varying from one to three stories. Each street is built to existing DOT specs for added realism and includes parked and disabled vehicles and other obstacles, and additionally it features over one mile of highway and 600 linear feet of an “underground” highway tunnel.

Registration opens Sunday, August 14 at 1500 EST (1200 PST) with a limited amount of tickets available at $350. Due to constraints with the venue this event will be LIMITED CAPACITY and we fully expect to sell out.

We are doing tickets a little bit differently this year and are pricing them based off of capacity, not time.

The initial batch of several hundred tickets will be $350, then $375, and the last batch at $400.

Last year the first batch of tickets sold out in 2 hours, and we anticipate this event selling out like our last 3x urban force on force events.

We have always done our best to keep our costs low, however we have been forced to raise our prices this year. The total venue cost is about 30% higher than it was last year, and flight costs appear to be roughly double. This all, in addition to the ongoing economic situation, has forced us to increase our prices.

MilSim West's Insurgency format returns to Victorville, CA!

Following the recent Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement, Armenian forces have evacuated the Artsakh territories that are to be ceded to Azerbaijan. Although Stepanakert, the capital of Arstakh, is to remain in Armenian hands, much of the formerly Armenian-occupied region has passed to Azerbaijani control. This has led to a difficult situation: the Armenian civilians of Artsakh are now under the control of their long-time enemy, Azerbaijan.

Both NATO and Russia have deployed peacekeepers to the region to oversee the transfer and prevent violence between rogue parties. While the Armenian military is no longer deployed in Artsakh, Armenian civilians continue to resist the process, leading to sporadic violence against peacekeepers and newly arrived Azerbaijani civilians and businesses. Although the Russian military officially opposes insurgent activity, there are reports of Russian military assistance to Armenian insurgents who attack NATO peacekeepers and Azerbaijani civilians alike.

If peace is to remain in the region, Russian and NATO forces need to work together to find common cause and promote peace between all civilians, both Armenian and Azerbaijani. If the ceasefire is not held, it is likely that violence will once again overwhelm Artsakh and this decades-long war will continue.

Q. Will blank fire be allowed at this event?
A. Yes, blank fire will be allowed for approved participants, 21 and over, who pass the blank fire inspection and safety test. If you are interested in running a blank fire weapon you must PM the MilSim West page for permission. It is the responsibility of the participant to make sure their firearm is in compliance with all relevant state and municipal laws.

Q. Can I bring my own POV and use it for my squad or platoon?
A. No

Q. Does the event actually start Friday? Can I show up Saturday?
A. The event starts Friday, that means actual operations start Friday as well. Saturday check-in is highly discouraged and will be at our convenience. Plan on showing up Friday.

Q. Will this be a 24-hour event?
A. No, this is a 40 hour event. 40 hours continuous in the field, there will be rest breaks however you must be able to sustain yourself for 40 hours.

Q. Can I go back to my car mid-game? Or can I sleep in a hotel?
A. No. You will not only be missing out on an essential part of the experience, and much of the event, but you will also be damaging the immersion of the rest of the participants.

Q. When does registration open and how much will it be?
A. Registration opens Thursday, March 4 and will be $150.

Q. Can I wait till the last moment to pay?
A. Yes, you can wait till the last minute to pay, but we wouldn't recommend it. Our previous event sold out before the close of registration leaving many who were planning on coming, but hadn't registered yet, out in the cold. On top of that, there is a significant discount offered to those who register early (Sept 1).

Q. When does registration close?
A. Registration closes 1-week prior to the event, on April 30. We would not recommend you wait that long as we expect this event to sell out before then.

Q. Something came up and I can't make the event. Can I get a refund or voucher for the next event?
A. No, we have a strict no-refunds policy. If you are military and we can transfer your ticket in the event that you are unable to make it, however we will no longer be accepting ticket transfers for any other reason.

Q. What are the available sides at this event?
A. There are two available sides and three factions. There is a multi-national NATO force on one side, then a Russian force on the other. Between the two is a civilian side.

Q. Can I wear my dirka dirka/Taliban kit?
A. No.

Q. What are the uniform and/or kit restrictions?
A. NATO is limited to Multicam; however, if you bring a squad of 9 or larger you can wear any NATO based camouflage you want - as long as it is not Russian or US M81 Woodland. You must PM us prior to the event if you plan on doing that.
Russian forces are limited to Russian camouflage only.
Kazakh Citizens are limited to civilian clothes. No black polo/PMC kits, no camouflage.

Q. What are the weapon restrictions?
A. NATO is limited to US style weapons only (AR variant/SCAR/M249/M240/M60/M40/SR25/M14s).
Russians are limited to Russian/Soviet weapons system (AK/SVD/PKM/RPK).
Cossack Militia have no weapon restrictions but excessive attachments and optics are discouraged.

Q. What airports are closest to the AO?
A. Los Angeles (LAX) and Ontario (ONT).

Q. What are your age requirements?
A. 13-15 must have a parent or legal guardian as a registered participant as well as a notarized waiver. 16-17 only needs to sign the participant waiver and have your parents sign and notarize the Minor Participant Addendum to the waiver. 18+ are good to go.

Q. What are the gear requirements?
A. Beyond the gear you need to play airsoft for 12 hours without resupply you should bring everything you need to live, sleep and eat in the field for 72 hours. See the MilSim West TACSOP for more details

Q. What are the faction/camouflage rules?
A. It is essentially a green vs tan, but with a twist. Each faction gets a unique accent color that each participant is required to wear, Eastern Royal Trading is red, while Southern Syndicate is blue/grey. These accent colors can be as small as a patch or arm band, or larger.
Eastern Royal Trading uses Dark/Green based camouflage such as M81 Woodland, Multicam Tropic, OD Green, Tiger stripe, Woodland MARPAT, Multicam black, etc.
Southern Syndicate uses Light/Tan based camouflage such as Multicam, Multicam Arid, Three Color Desert, Tan, Grey, etc.

Q. What is the BLUE FOX TRACKER?
A. The BLUE FOX TRACKER the first smartphone app dedicated to enhancing airsoft events is coming out soon. Developed exclusively for DESERT FOX AIRSOFT EVENTS the BLUE FOX TRACKER is part blue force/squad tracker, communicator and bulletin board and will change the way airsoft is played by streamlining and enhancing play.

Q. What is the difference between MilSim West and Desert Fox Airsoft Events?
A. MilSim West is a 40 hour long hard core wargaming experience. Desert Fox Airsoft Events is aimed at those looking for a fun and casual yet still professional airsoft event.

A. Jet Desert Fox owns a majority stake in the company, so he will be at every event

Q. What is the BLUE FOX TRACKER?
A. The Blue Fox Tracker is our upcoming smartphone companion app available for iOS and Android and will operate much like the map and control system in video games. It will be allow players to view themselves. their squad and their teammates position in real time on a map as well as communicate with their squad, team mates and receive updates from game control.
There will also be a more social aspect to the app where players can create profiles and win badges and prizes once our website fully launches.

Q. What will the event format be like? How long is it?
A. The event experience will start Friday with players being able to interact with sponsors and airsoft personalities. Game play will start Saturday morning and will run through to the evening where there will be a break for dinner before the optional night game and then the final scenario on Sunday morning.
