📢 Big News in Racine County! 📢
Last night, on July 23, 2024, Racine County Board Supervisor Thomas E. Roanhouse (District 18) took his oath and officially assumed the role of Interim County Executive. This appointment, motioned by County Board Chair Thomas Kramer, received unanimous approval from the County Board.

Thomas E. Roanhouse has dedicated over 15 years to public service in Racine County. His tenure includes 10 years as a county board supervisor and four years as County Board Chairman. During his time as Chairman and thereafter, Mr. Roanhouse worked closely with the late County Executive Jonathan Delagrave. “We are going to be committed to Jonathan’s mission being fulfilled,” said Roanhouse, ensuring a seamless transition and advancing Delagrave’s vision and priorities for Racine County. These include attracting economic development, developing a ready workforce, expanding mental health services, and maintaining Racine County’s reputation as a leader in providing cost-effective services with low debt levels and property taxes.
Thomas E. Roanhouse will serve as Interim County Executive until the Special Election on December 19, 2024, when a new County Executive will be elected.

Join us in congratulating Tom Roanhouse as he steps into this important role! 🎉👏
