It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Bob Marques of Chez Bob’s has passed away.
I honestly believe that he hung on to make it to his Celebration of Life at Chez Bob’s two weeks ago. All the love showered upon him by his family of friends one last time carried him through this transition. And loved he was.
Bob was the beating heart of RBC and when his health forced him to close up shop, a huge part of RBC’s spirit went with him. One never remained a stranger when entering Bob’s orbit. He made it his business to know your preferences and catered to them. His love for others ran deep and it showed. Bob’s love for Christmas decorating was legendary and there was rarely a Barbie he’d pass up at a flea market. His generous spirit matched his collections as he shared his treasure finds, gifting others with items he wanted you to have. His meatloaf needs no explanation.
Bob’s light shone bright in the heart of RBC, touching all those who stepped into its radiance. His earthly vessel no longer limits its luminous glow.
RIP our precious Bob.
