Today we said our last tearful goodbye to one of the best human beings to ever set foot in our building. Many of you probably recognize Callyn’s friendly face as it was most likely the one greeting you, serving you, or just chatting you up for the last three years when you came to dine with us. There are no words to accurately describe the impact she has had on every person she’s worked with here. She’s kind, smart, exceptionally hilarious, and always down to lend an ear, or a hand, or teach us some weird dance (that she probably made up) or whatever new thing she’s learned on the mom side of TikTok.
Recently her husband Jesse, who is in the Coast Guard, received a promotion to Chief! This came along with a new assignment, so they will be taking themselves, their wonderful daughters Darby and Maren, and their dog Kenzie, all the way to Puerto Rico!! We are sad to see them go, but so excited for all the adventures in store for them as they take on this new exciting journey as a family. Please join us in thanking Callyn for all she has done over the years and wishing them all the very best ❤️

Exciting news… Beignets are here to stay!!! These fluffy gluten-free delights have made so many of you so happy we’ve decided to keep them around. With this being said, it does mean we are getting rid of our old Cinnamon Sugar Donut recipe for what we think is a new and improved version!! To keep fans of the old favorite in our good graces we are going to offer our beignets 2 ways!

Come enjoy the start of patio season with our Spring Cocktail Menu! Each drink featuring local booze, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and housemade syrups. They are also all available N/A! If you think it’s still a little too chilly out there but want to still enjoy the sun, remember we have enclosed and heated outdoor seating every day we’re open!! We’ve got a crispy pork belly sandwich on special all week!! With housemade gochujang mayo and picked red onionsz We launched it this weekend and it went over super well, so it’ll stick around for the next little bit 🙂 it’s available gluten free!!
We also want to announce that this will be our last day for a while being open 7 days a week. With a lot of our staff going up north help with the Blue Bear Ellison Bay summer season in Door County, we are going back to 6 days of business down here. So starting April 30th, we will be closed Tuesdays for the summer. Thanks so much for your continued support!
Thank you all for an amazingly busy week. We had so much fun coming up with fun new food and drink specials to share with you all for Easter. If you didn’t get to join us, we’re luckily still running some of those specials through the week! (Lemon lavender pancakes are vegan and gluten-free 😉) We’ve also got a ton of gluten-free crepe batter so we might run a couple different ones. Valentine's Beignets!!
Cupid has struck us, and we arr obsessed with these sweet treats, so we are keeping them going for the week!
We've added a pop of pink to them with dragon fruit powder so that they are dressed for the occasion, but they are still completely gluten free!
