Just in case you missed it….. we dropped all these goodies into Lulubirds this week and they’re just waiting for the perfect space to call ‘home’
❤️👀🏡
Whoah baby!
Today we sourced a 1920’s Art Deco hanging EXIT globe in Ruby glass.
She’s beauuuuutiful!!!!
❤️😍❤️
Beautiful day to wander!!! Don’t get LOST! 😌😌🌺🌺
Ohhh I LOVE coral. That isn’t ours but she suuuurrrreeee IS perrrrrrty!
You may come from little means now….
But wait my dear.
Just….. wait. ❤️🙏
On a week that seems like the jobs are impossible and not going our way at ALL-….. a little ray of sunshine shows up. 🥳
Thanks Maybelle Farm & Flower Market you brightened the end of our week considerably. ❤️❤️🙏🙏🌺🌺
Umm. Yeah.
So we bought this yesterday off a furniture friend and neighbor….
We’re a little excited about her. 😂😂🙏🙏
New week. Get to it!
I also thought the shape of this table was really cool. With the base mirroring the top and all that open space- although not that old it had a great modern flair. We went with stripped wood, Millstone on the body and a gold detailing on the lip under the mirror for a little splash of design!
Whatcha think?
Forgot to take before pics…
That like NEVER happens.
We must be very busy….
And it’s been very HOT up in this shop 🥵🥵🥵🥵
Anywho…. Use your imagination and close your eyes and pretend this piece is a dark ugly brown with black flecking…. Yeah we’ve seen it before around here.
Than imagine we spend a few days slathering it down with a bunch of chemicals to make that ugly go away…
And Voila!
That’s what we have here. A Naked cabinet (sealed of course). Some fab modern dark bronze with copper highlighted pulls and a fun inside to make you smile every time you open her up!
Now who could love a mini credenza?!?
😁🙋🏼♀️
Happy Birthday To Stephanie! Head into Downtown Kenosha and pick up a little something pretty for yourself today too!
Rule #1-
Never say NO to a cozy broken IN leather chair and ottoman.
Never.
❤️👀❤️
Bought this desk yesterday for myself….. because I don’t have one…..
And LOOK 👀👀👀👀 how lucky I got under that factory black finish!
I was just planning to paint the top again and call it ‘good enough for me’ but yikes…. Now I NEED to finish that awesome wood!
Fancier desk than I need but well worth the hour of sanding!!
This client’s little lady here needed just some love and attention.
She finally found the perfect piece with the details she wanted- and we got the pleasure of sprucing her up before she heads home to her final spot.
What a stunning solid piece of walnut!
We stripped and thinned to keep as much of the aging in the wood as possible.
We did update the knobs to a simple classy solid brass vintage but kept the originals too!
That wood just sings in its original tones now!
It wasn’t horrific but it definitely needed some love.
❤️
We grabbed this old gangly set of twins at Elkhorn two weeks ago….. we almost needed to make them a charitable cause toward marriage counseling- because I normally promise not to buy any BIGS at flea markets that need to be carried around…..
welp I couldn’t leave them behind and the hubby tolerated me JUST long enough to get them to the truck.
I have a feeling underneath that old dark junk could be something lovely!
And yes…. A lot of these MCM Mersmans have laminate tops….
🤷♀️ who cares🤷♀️
Who wouldn’t want a table that’s virtually scratch proof!
I don’t mind them ONE bit. User friendly and LOVELY to not have to worry about!
Let’s see what happens….. 😬😬😬
I am such a sucker for that clean walnut look.
Even when I get a piece that ‘technically doesn’t need it’ I have a hard time keeping my hands OFF that old aged yellowed lacquer to find the beauty beneath again.
The clarity of walnut is always best exposed.
Vintage Mersman.
Well brushing up the final touches on this lady was a nice way to start the week!
Look at the clarity we got out of that old lacquered crotch mahogany. Great restore for this clients vinyls!
If you didn’t see our story today…. I have to share.
Because I spent only ONE hour today looking for goodies in three places and check out all the amazing finds!!!
Boho rattan shelf. Some killer stools.
A Slat bench that obviously needs to be brought back to life…..
and a set of 4 danish teak chairs!
Whew!!!
Not bad for a couple of quick stops and a rainy day!!! 😱😱🔥🔥
Another dreamy week. Another chance for YOU to grab what you love!
Working a few projects this week. Most of them require full strip downs….. I hope this is a preview to an amazing ending!! 🤤🤤🙏🙏❤️❤️
Comin’ up!!!!
❤️🤭❤️
