It was a privilege to host 99-year-old WWII Veteran Alan Shapiro at Creutzburg yesterday, as he recounted his extraordinary tale as an Army Fighter Pilot in Normandy during World War II. Alan’s courage and heroism not only saved countless lives, but also played a pivotal role in defeating tyranny and defending democracy and freedom. We are deeply grateful for Alan’s dedication to serving his country and his commitment to lifelong learning, which he demonstrated by sharing his remarkable experiences with our MLSN community.
