It feels good to be doing, what God called you to do! Meeting the most amazing families, and seeing those babies leave with a smile! Some have a little harder time with haircuts, but that is okay….some things take a little more time! Every person is different! This is what makes the world Go round! Welcome to the Salon 103 "Kid's Zone". We believe that EVERY child is a precious gift from God.....created in His image and special in His eyes! No child is left out of His plan; therefore, we commit to loving and encouraging every child who enters our salon. Every. Single. One.
Our kid friendly salon doesn't "monkey-around" when it comes to your little one. We feature kid friendly wall decals, and our salon is decorated in a way to make your child feel right at home. Whether your child is sitting in our monkey styling chair, watching a movie, creating a work of art on our chalkboard, or playing with our many toys, we strive to create a unique and pleasurable experience for both you and your child. We also provide quality haircuts for big kids, too (that's you, Mom and Dad)!
We love kids, and we pride ourselves on being patient with them. When your child arrives, we help them to get settled in and relaxed by offering them a snack and giving them a little "play time". Mom and Dad get some much needed "down-time" and a refreshment as well if they’d like. We add fun to the atmosphere by singing, dancing, blowing bubbles, and we will cut their hair where they are most comfortable - in our cute monkey chair, on the floor, Mom or Dad's lap, even while they are sleeping. We are here to not only help the child but Mom and Dad as well. Swinging by our treasure chest on the way out will surely bring a smile to your child's face!
We understand that It is common for some children to have a fear of getting their hair cut. We get that - they're having to sit still, having to be covered by a hairdressing cape, and then they see someone coming at them with scissors. Some children even have sensory disorders, and they are completely out of their comfort zone. We genuinely care about your child's feelings, and we do everything in our power to give them a fun, enjoyable experience. Our goal is that they will enjoy this experience so much, that they will want to keep coming back!
