Teddy was exposed to a lot of my stress during pregnancy so I work hard to support him as best as I can!
How we handle stress at 45 linked to prenatal exposure Men and women whose mothers experienced stressful events during pregnancy regulate stress differently in the brain 45 years later, results of a long-term study demonstrate.
Strawberry picking! Was so proud of our hard work that I made tea out of the tops too!
Read under flashlight last night during our power outage. Loved that the first few pages spoke about how trees grow to be strong and resilient. I marveled at the flexibility of our trees as they were tested by the strong gusts of wind. We were built that way too. We have just lost some foundation to remember it.
100% agree

To start the week, before getting groceries, I am dedicating some time to cleaning up. This is from 2 rows of trash from Walmart...it was small stuff too. Had a moment in the car as I looked around, seeing I barely made a dent before Teddy was over the wind and my hand hurt from picking up so much with the grabber. I had a moment of doubt that what I was doing didn’t matter. But I have to believe that I am making a difference. It sure doesn’t seem like it, but I will have faith that I can impact someone. For every person that drove by, I hope they will think twice about littering because a mother and a child may be spending their time picking up after them. And if not, I get to celebrate doing my part and teaching the kids to take care of the land. On the drive home, I flipped to a radio station to a lady saying “what you give makes an impact” and I’m taking that as the universe validating my effort and ALL Wild Keepers who may feel the same way. 30,000 lbs is the goal for Earth Month and I bet that makes Mother Earth smile that she has an army looking out for her.
Finally got this kid a haircut! The esthetician was amazing with her acrobatics to clean this kid up
Maddie’s favorite book at the moment and definitely feeling a mom win! Practicing our calming breath, feeling what’s going on in our body and finding ways to self-regulate. The glitter jar has been fun and perfect for her age!

Behead cutie.
She’s a natural!
My warrior wound from risky play on the playground today! Playing tag and finding new ways to climb on the equipment got me today, but hearing the kids say they had so much fun made my day. I love being the mom who is willing to be a kid and model that a mom can be playful too.
Stillness. I can’t escape this message and reminder. I bought this before we left Hawaii and today of all days Ryan pulled it out to hang up. During church I received clarity that one of my gifts is to invite a sense of stillness in others. Sometimes I may not have a lot to say, but I appreciate what others want to express. I’ve always been told I have a calming presence, yet have struggled to find that calm in myself. Day by day, I invite the stillness in so I can be closer to my truth and encourage others into theirs. To be courageous, I need to be still and listen to the voice from my heart, not my head. My mind will talk me out of it, but the body gives the true answer. It scares me what it says yes to sometimes, but what it’s brought me to is beautiful.
The subtle sensations of the body are often overridden by an overactive mind. Meditation, journaling and body practices are so important to live in alignment with our true essence
Enjoying the yard! We used to let the cats out in the yard every Sunday and I think it’s time to have fun with them outside again.
Backyard camping! Preparing for a summer of camping trips!
A new way of living and a fresh way to see movement. I’ve always had so much tension in my body and didn’t realize I frequently fought against my reality. I’m learning to see the teaching in the tension so I don’t have to stay stuck.
Sometimes you just have to lock yourself in with the sleeping babe and do a flow while Daddy does bedtime with the big kid. How refreshing 15 minutes can be with uninhibited embodied movement.
Just finished my first podcast interview about my childhood story and how Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) have impacted my adult life. What a joy to share in hope that it will help someone else not feel so alone
I listen to a lot of summits and The Tapping World Summit is one I will return to every year! Accepting current fears and limiting beliefs then choosing to see the opportunity in playing with new beliefs while tapping on acupressure points resonates with me! Adding a wonderful tool to move back into the body in times I’m stuck in my head. Thank you for an amazing event!
I have learned this lesson so many times over. I’m starting to know how to choose clarity through many micro changes and mess ups. It feels good to be on the opposite end of overwhelm.
Speechless and so much to say at the same time. I bought this book almost a year ago after listening to Glennon’s podcast interview with Brene Brown because it hit so close to home. Had I read the book back then though, I would heave heard a different message. This book is a celebration in my journey over the past year. This morning I read all of 10 pages over two hours while Teddy napped on me. Every sentence was gold and spurred me into deep reflection. I had at least seven big epiphanies and answers to things that I had rumbled with. Just WOW! The most productive time on the couch I’ve ever spent. I know it’s written for women, but the world needs to read this book!
March planning session with the Sonder community! Getting clear on how I want the month to look and fully committed to following through this month!
Loved the stink 🤣

I had a few important meetings for marketing and self-development on my calendar this week and most of them didn’t go as planned with internet issues or a crying, teething kid, but I showed up for myself in the best way I could. Great week for the opportunity to live in discomfort. No wonder I’ve slept so well, it takes a lot of energy to accept what is!
A true Mexican mocha! Just spice and chocolate from Mexico. Perfect for nicest day we’ve had in months!
Feeling the Light a lot lately! How? I’ve been willing to go to the dark places and dive in to what meaning I gave to the hurt and what it caused me to believe about myself. I think I see the Light because it is no longer scary to explore and I let what comes up move out of my body. I feel so much lighter and free, have more clarity and know my direction. Had I not been willing to clean the wound, I would still be stuck in all my old stories.
