First lady Jill Biden unveils this year's White House Christmas decorations This year's theme is the "magic, wonder and joy" of Christmas time through the lens of children. Throughout the White House grounds are 98 Christmas trees, almost 34,000 ornaments and 72 wreaths.

At approximately 12:39am on 10/14/23, officers from Normal Police Department responded to a report of a victim with an injury consistent with a gunshot wound in the 1200 Block of West Hovey Ave.

Officers responded and located a victim who was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The investigation into this case is still ongoing and no arrest has been made at this time.
