Welcome Dr. Chaffer, who has recently joined Rolesville Veterinary Hospital! 🐾 🩺❤
Following her veterinary studies on the beautiful South Caribbean island of Grenada at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, with her final clinical year at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, she graduated in 2008. Accumulating experience at various small animal hospitals in Long Island, Rockland County, and the Hudson Valley, she made the move to the Raleigh area in 2020 with her husband, who is also a veterinarian at Louisburg Veterinary Hospital. Their furry family consists of two mixed-breed dogs named Drake and Babs, and two domestic shorthair cats named Harvey and Slade. Dr. Chaffer's professional interests encompass medicine, ultrasonography, dentistry, acupuncture/rehab, and exotic pet care. Certified as a Fear Free veterinarian, her goal is to alleviate pets' stress during vet visits. In her leisure time, she relishes cooking, discovering new restaurants and breweries, practicing yoga and Zumba, gardening, and passionately supporting football and hockey teams at both college and professional levels. We are delighted to welcome her to our team! 🐶🐱

Exciting news! 🐾 We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Bamberger, to the Rolesville Vet family. With a passion for animal care, Dr. Bamberger is here to provide top-notch care for your beloved pets.
🌟 Bamberger obtained her DVM from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine after studying animal science at the University of Cincinnati. She lived in Ohio for most of her life before moving to North Carolina to join Vets Pets at Rolesville Veterinary Hospital. Her passion lies in caring for unconventional pets, whether they have fur, feathers, or scales. During her veterinary studies, Dr. Bamberger specialized in exotic animal medicine and led the Exotic Animal Club at Ohio State as its President. She completed various externships in exotic animal care to improve her expertise in handling exotic pets. Furthermore, she volunteered at a local feline shelter in Ohio and contributed to stray cat spay/neuter programs in Athens, Greece. Outside of work, Dr. Bamberger enjoys outdoor pursuits, kayaking, oil painting, and traveling. She currently looks after two pets: a cornsnake and a green tree python.
