Improvising at Camp
Sometimes camping is all about adaptation and improvising when you forgot an item or didn't pack it to save weight or space. Like peeling a sweet potato with a paring knife! Totally doable, though not as easy. We could tell some silly stories from attempting to open a wine bottle with a hiking boot to using some string to rig a tarp. Here's the order you should stuff your tent so you can easily set it up the next time: 1) tent stakes on the bottom 2) tent poles to one side 3) stuff the tent fly to the bottom 4) stuff the tent body on top
