What to peel and peek??? When it comes to looking for hazards we have to look at the future of vehicles, which is EV. You have to not only peel and peek the interior but more importantly the otter layer looking for high voltage cables before making any cut!!! Had a 2010 Toyota Prius in the shop today. Diagnosed and replaced a faulty electric water pump for the engine. Faulty engine water pumps can lead to cylinder head gasket failures very quickly on a Toyota Pruis.
Car also has a water intrusion issue at the rear hatch that we were able to resolve with apply some sealant around the harness grommets.
