It's a very sad day for us today. It's a day we knew would come eventually. This afternoon at 1 pm, Mike Ray, founder of Mike's Speed Shop, passed away.

I chose this photo of Mike, from the 2022 season at Wake County Speedway to represent him because it's how most of us saw Mike. The friendly man inside the "souvey trailer," always ready to strike up a conversation or just say "hey, how's it going?"
