Hello everyone, my name is Max, it’s nice to meet you! I am a sweet but shy dog who is looking for a good home where I can come out of my shell. I like playing with toys (squeaky balls are my favorite!), treats, and playing with other dogs. Someone who can be patient with me until I warm up to them would be perfect! I am pretty good on the leash, so some one-on-one training will be beneficial to me. I appear to be good with other dogs, but I have not been tested with cats. If you decide to make me part of your home and already have other pets, please bring them with you, I’d love to meet them!

SANDY is a beautiful Husky mix that was surrendered along with Bruno. Their owner has had to start traveling a lot with work and cannot keep them.

Koby is a 3 year old, who is very loving and loyal. Koby loves to play with his toys and his blanket. He is house broken and responds to commands like sit or stay. He enjoys jumping for treats and playing with his companion, who is a chihuahua. Koby has never had an issues with tearing up anything in the house and knows things are off limits, like the trash can or decorative items. If one of his toys is thrown and lands on a low shelf, he’s timid about approaching it and sometimes won’t because he instinctively knows he shouldn’t. Koby has been with his current owner for just over a year and was malnourished when she first got him but is now at a good weight. His owner can no longer care for him due to a disabling condition and hopes he finds a new home where he will be loved.

On national dog day we recognize Flik- the real MVP - who lets his baby sister take the bed and sleeps on the floor ♥️

I’m lucky to have this sweet girl with me today. After what I thought was a routine puppy visit turned into a parvo treatment. I can’t say enough amazing things about the staff at Petfolk! They are amazing! I am so thankful for the new parvo treatment and it was caught early so it’s not a death sentence! As always- this couldn’t come at a worse time with me being out of work. I’ll put my Venmo and PayPal in the comments for anyone who wants to help us with our bill. I’m just so thankful my sweet girl will be ok. (Marla is a permanent sanctuary member.)
