We are sad to say that Dave Sullivan passed away suddenly Thursday morning. We are all in shock and appreciate the love and support that is already pouring in. The coffee shop will remain, call for holiday hours and information. Obituary and memorial information forthcoming.

COVID-19 Safety Update July 10, 2020

For your safety and the safety of our staff, we are reverting to Take Out Service Only at 3100 Hillsborough St. effective immediately, and until further notice.

We are getting ready to allow seating inside and outside at Cup A Joe Hillsborough St. on a trial basis starting Saturday 5/23/2020.

FYI-Cup A Joe Mission Valley reopens on Tuesday May 26 at 7am!

Cup A Joe Update 4/22/2020

Cup A Joe Mission Valley remains CLOSED until the stay-at-home order is lifted. We hope to re-open this location soon!

Cup A Joe Hillsborough St. is now OPEN 6:00am – 7:00pm, 7 DAYS/WEEK.

For everyone’s protection, we have plexiglass partitions along the service counter, all staff are wearing face masks, gloves are provided for customers to use while shopping and paying, and there is plenty of room for social distancing while getting your coffee.

Curbside Pick Up for BEANS ONLY is up and running! Please note that at present, food and beverage orders require customers to order and pick up IN STORE. For now, Curbside Pick Up is for beans only. Complete information can be found on our website http://www.cupajoe.com.

Cup A Joe Update 4/7/2020

Cup A Joe Mission Valley is CLOSED until the Stay-At-Home order is lifted. We hope to re-open in early May, but who knows?

Cup A Joe Hillsborough St. is OPEN, and we have expanded our hours (a little-we are now open until 7pm Wed-Sat). For everyone’s protection, we have installed plexiglass partitions along the service counter, all staff are wearing face masks and there is plenty of room for social distancing while getting your coffee.

New Store Hours are:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6 am – 5 pm
Wednesday-Saturday 6 am – 7 pm

Online ordering of beans and gift certificates is going strong. Just yesterday, we shipped beans as far as Seattle, WA and as close as 2 blocks from the store! Thanks to everyone who has ordered from our website!

We are working on a plan for Curbside Pickup. Stay tuned for more on that!

Calling all coffee loving crafters!! We have decided that we would like our employees to wear masks while at work. We want to stay open as long as we are able, but we need to keep our staff and community safe while continuing to serve. If any of you are crafty or know someone who is, we are asking for 24-30 homemade masks. We would like to be clear that we only want homemade masks, not masks meant for health care workers, please send those to the hospitals. We will gladly trade coffee for masks!

Our Hillsborough St. location is STILL OPEN! from 6am-5pm Daily. We have installed plastic partitions along the service counter for everyone’s protection.

We have closed our Mission Valley location until the Stay-at-Home order expires.
