I’ve been lucky (I guess you could say) that Covid has only prevented me from missing two of my couples weddings in the last year. To say that I was absolutely heartbroken and devastated both times would be an understatement. Anne & Josh originally planned their dream wedding in Savannah, GA last year. However, they decided to have a small “mini-mony” in beautiful Franklin, TN instead with hopes of celebrating all over again with all of their family and friends this September.

Three days before their wedding my oldest son tested positive for Covid. I called Anne in tears to let her know and it’s no surprise that she was so understanding and kind. She is honestly one of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met. And rather than being devastated or anxious, she met me with grace and reassured me that she trusted my judgement, which meant the world! Huge thank you to my fellow photographer and dear friend Ashly for stepping in for me.

Although I wasn’t able to be there in person, seeing the pure joy throughout Anne and Josh’s BIG wedding day makes me so happy and I am extremely honored to share these special moments with you all!
