Our very own President of the Board of Directors, Ramona Reyes, brought greetings on behalf of the Board of Directors, our CEO, Maria C. Garza, and Policy Council President, Faustina Vazquez and gave an inspiring speech as the East Coast Migrant Head Start Project was recognized for its remarkable 50-year anniversary milestone! 🌟

Together, we're committed to making a positive impact on the lives of migrant and seasonal farmworker families, especially by prioritizing the voices of farmworkers and empowering our parents.

Our Tahlequah, Oklahoma early childhood education campus had a fun safety awareness prevention event that focused on teaching children how to stay safe at school and at home.

They covered emergency procedures, monthly drills, and had a special visit from our local fire department! They demonstrated fire safety and showed the kids what firefighters look like in full gear, so they know not to be afraid. 🚒👩‍🚒✨

Our graduates have gained invaluable knowledge, learned the importance of their community roles, and acquired tools to support their families. They’ve shared experiences, built a supportive community, and discovered their strengths. Now, they are ready to advocate for their children and families, inspiring future leaders and change-makers.

These families’ arduous physical labor enables local consumers to purchase fruits, vegetables, and poultry at affordable prices. ECMHSP takes pride in providing vital early childhood education, including STEAM instructional approaches, which invest in the next generation of the NC workforce. Quality early childhood care and education is especially vital since 90% of brain development
happens by age five.

The Manning Educational Campus in South Carolina joined their local community to celebrate Juneteenth, honoring the end of slavery in the United States.

They had a blast with Mr. Michael Walker, a local talented musician, who brought music and joy to the campus. Together, the children learned to say "HELLO" in various languages through songs and laughter. 🎵

Our CEO, Maria C. Garza, was recently invited to visit the residence of the Vice President for a Dia de los Madres celebration. She had the honor of meeting the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, and Second Gentleman, Doug Emhoff and brought handcrafted cards from our Faison, NC preschoolers. 🇺🇸✨

We are proud to have such dedicated leadership advocating for the futures of our children and ensuring that their voices are heard at the highest levels.
