Abby’s cryptic response to me asking her why she texted me 4 times about the bars and truffles even though this was not her first Azurelise Rodeo.
I opened the door to my shop’s customer reception area to find Urysla and Vianka sitting waiting on me. I asked why they didn’t ringgits the bell. Vianka said “We couldn’t find it.” I had them reenact what happened after Urysla responded “Not ‘We’”.

Chris is regional sales manager for Puratos, a Belgian chocolate maker. While in Belgium last week, he found out about Azurelise Easter Bunnies, ordered one, and picked it up on his way home to Savannah, GA. He told me the Bunny was for his wife but she would not miss the Bunny ears.

L to R: Megan, Allison. Stephen Jen and Sheils, wanted to know how I knew they were from Michigan. How could I not know? They were visiting the Triangle to attend a colleagues wedding in Durham. Sheila got upset when I misspelled her name a few times, took my pen from me and wrote it herself. Not my fault she’s returning to snow and sub-zero weather tomorrow.

Max is taking the chocolates to Japan. He pointed out the meanings of some Japanese items I have in shop and also the Japanese meaning of “oushi” in “Noushi” which is the name of the chocolate bars.

Started celebrating the completion of 72 years (September 4) on July 30, which was the last day I shaved until today. Compared to a lot of things it makes no sense to think I am old. Compared to existence, generally, it does not even make sense to say I am getting older. It is not, never has been and never will be about you, ROS.

White chocolate espresso Morning Glories.
Phil, a lead meteorologist with the National Weather Service, showed no signs of regret or remorse when he confessed only 4 of the 8 bars he bought for his mother as a Mother’s Day gift made it to her. I had no reason to believe he would sprout a conscience between pickup and delivery this time, so I put his mother’s chocolate bars in a bag that I sealed with a double knotted tightly tied ribbon.
I was standing on my porch watching my hibiscus suffering I the heat when Hayley and Lauren drove past the shop on their to Maine from Orlando. The chocolate sign in my shop window made Hayley do a u turn. That turn led them to buying 4 sea salt caramel bars and asking me what my favorite song of all time is. It is “Sex Machine” by Sly and the Family Stone which I first heard in 1969.
