Our NC vintage community is close and when part of that community is in need, we all lend a hand. When those of us in the Triangle (and beyond) heard about the devastation that one of everyone’s favorite vintage shopping spots and all of the 20 vendors they support (such as my favs!) experienced during hurricane Helene, we knew we had to help. We’ve banded together for a benefit auction (LINK in bio!) with 100% of the proceeds going to and the vintage dealers and artists that sold with them.

Last month I got to do one of my favorite things…I got to play with some of my favorite people to simply make beautiful images just for fun…a chance to just be purely creative. AND, at the same time it was a chance to highlight some of the pieces we’re bringing to (Nov 2-3). We’re loving the noir vibe right now with these vintage (Phoebe Philo era) and dresses!

When you wake up and realize you both have birthdays this week and have 48 hours with not too much on the calendar, what do you do?? You hop a plane to Paris obviously!! Wishing mi amour a most happy birthday!!! I loved spending it with you in Paris!! Now, on to London for MY birthday.

Yes, the tower of suitcases at the Eiffel Tower is indeed filled with the fruits of our Paris shopping today. All coming to you at the summer and fall shows.

I confess, sometimes something sells and I realize I never did a proper post as I’d meant to. This is one of those…let’s all share a bit of appreciation for this 1972 Yves Saint Laurent wrap jacket before she flies off to her new home. Perfection!!

Do we all love 1960s & 1970s BIBA? The flagship boutique is the stuff of legend. And the clothes and accessories, designed by Barbara Hulanicki, epitomize the London Boutique scene. We put a micro-mini Biba collection (ok, three things 🤣) online, including a rare set of 4 (only 6 issues were printed) Biba mail order catalogs from the late 1960s. Oh and the dresses now up for grabs are pretty good too. 😉

Nothing is more fun the doing it a second time! We sold this amazing Victor Costa taffeta coat at last year’s and we missed her so much that we manifested another one! She’s available online now…go check her out!
