So, here's what happened: We needed to add another very important member to the team here. Every office needs an office dog. Tucker needed a comfy place to visit. So, we moved!

The Law Office of Christopher Mann is now located at 621 W. Jones Street in the Glenwood South area of Raleigh. Come visit us to check out the new space!

We still have the office at 201 Shannon Oaks in Cary, should your client's prefer to close there.

AND, we are opening another satellite office at 880 Timber Drive in Garner, should that be convenient for your clients.

In an action of unforgiveable disloyalty Kathy, our wonderful paralegal, surreptitiously entered a chili cookoff in which Chris was defending his title from last year. In treasonous treachery, she won. Chris did not.

She’s been sacked.

The Law Office of Christopher Mann is seeking a qualified real estate paralegal. It’d be great if said candidate had a vague understanding of real estate. Maybe understood how to read a contract.

Whatever. What’s most important is that the candidate make terrible chili.

Hello friends: We are looking for a new assistant. This person is going to be the first person everyone talks to when they call or come in. So, it's really really important that they be perpetually pleasant. There might be other important things, like organizational skills, being able to work with Office, and on macs, but really, most important: Be perpetually pleasant.

Do YOU know someone who might be perpetually pleasant that would like to work with grumpy old me, and perpetually pleasant Kathy?

We got our closing with the amazing Kathleen LeBlanc signed and recorded by 10:30 this morning to make it official before the Register of Deeds closes. Call off the snow for the end of the week. Someone call Elsa or Olaf or someone and tell them to make it stop.

Electronic filing is the most amazing thing! It saves so much time, and gets buyers in their homes faster than ever. However.. there is a dark side... (queue scary piano music) Lenders constantly call me in a state of panic because I send them back an original deed of trust that doesn't have recording information stamped on it.

This is how we are addressing that. This gets sent with every loan package. I hope that a loan closer smiles a little when they get this. But most importantly I hope they will stop calling me, freaked out.

So grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the great golf tournament put on by Garman Homes and Go Realty benefitting Duke Children's Miracle Home.
