Tonight from 6pm - 9pm join us for our January First Friday! Take a stroll through all of our galleries while great music plays, and if you get hungry step outside to a food truck! We will also have an extra exhibition by students from The Raleigh School that will be up until Friday, January 12th.

Tomorrow night is our January First Friday, and we cannot wait to see you there! From 6pm - 9pm we will have an exhibition by The Raleigh School, a food truck, and fun music. Come out and make wonderful memories at CAM!

We are so excited to be welcoming The Raleigh School students to CAM! During our January First Friday, there will be an exhibition and reception for these wonderful pieces from 6pm - 7pm. The exhibition will be up until January 12th, so if you don't get a chance to come and see these works on First Friday you can throughout the next week!

We share our condolences with the family and friends of Edward Baxter, a pioneering local artist who recently exhibited at CAM with the Raleigh Fine Arts Society 2023 North Carolina Artists Exhibition. It was an honor and privilege for CAM to share his work on our walls. As time moves on, his artwork and legacy will continue to live on forever.

The Threads Fashion Gala is a dazzling celebration of creativity, fashion, craftsmanship and artistry. Hosted at the prestigious Contemporary Art Museum of Raleigh, this gala showcases fashion lines created by the Wilson College of Textiles seniors in fashion development and product management whose exquisite collections transform the museum's galleries into a mesmerizing runway of inspiration. The lines will also feature exquisite items from COACH, who has given the students the incredible opportunity to borrow items to style their collections.

Attendees have the unique opportunity to engage intimately with the designers, exploring the intricate details of their creations up close and gaining insights into their artistic process.
