In 2007, Sara opened Raleigh’s very first cupcake shop which quickly expanded to become the city’s go-to for boutique and custom cakes, small-batch baked goods, and amazing coffee (). Every day, she leads an all-women team of 14 through small-business obstacles, and does so with consideration, kindness, and strength. She is the moment, who many aspire to be, our fearless leader.
