1967 GTO that's getting a restoration and new paint. Last three pictures are why you should never buy a car that's "already finished".
We've got a lot done on the 1976 Ironhead, including a total rebuild of this original S&S Super B carburetor, which some of you may know is not an easy thing to do.
Another step forward on our Chevelle. We got the old floor pan out and cleaned up the interior and the new floor pan before installation. We're getting closer to getting this project done and back on the road.
We put the finishing touches on the 1978 F150 this week, and it's finally ready to go home. There was a lot of detail work on this project, and we're pretty happy with how it turned out.
It's a 2000 Harley Fat Boy that a customer brought to us for a fairing, bags and paint. The fairing is from Wide Open, and the bags are OE Harley. We laid down some Red Line Red over everything and got this beauty at the end. Some major upgrades to a classic ride.
Our Chevelle has it's new trunk pan now, and most of the panels are lined up. We'll be getting it ready for paint soon. We think it's going to look even better than it did in '68.
23 years and going strong. Thank you to all our customers past and present, and to our future customers, those of you with a vehicle and a vision, come on down. Let's talk about it.
A shoehorn and some tweaking and this Hemi V8 is in and mounted. Mounts from Trans-Dapt Performance are keeping everything tight, and this 1965 Chrysler is almost ready to go home.
With brand new paint and pin striping, this 2006 Ultra Classic is ready for some serious miles. And it will definitely be turning heads along the way.
Making moves on the 1976 ironhead. Finished putting the plate mount on the sissy bar, and mounted the brake light. This one's going to be special
It's not every day we get to see a past project again. This 1969 Chevy c-10 came through the shop back in 2021, and the owner is keeping her in mint condition. We love to see it.
When you go the extra mile in your work, it shows
Throw back to last year when we did this 2018 Harley Break Out. This was one of our favorites, and it's a good example of how we like to paint
Today we release this beast back into the wild. Still Harley, still Sportster, but all Toxic Customs. It got a completely redesigned custom frame and swing arm to fit that 240 rear tire, custom oil tank, custom fenders, one of a kind paint job, hand made graphics, and enough chrome to start a club.
We take a lot of pride in our work, but especially in our paint jobs, which are the best you will find in the Triangle and beyond. Trust us, we checked. If you want it done right, get it done at Toxic Customs.
So if we have not pi**ed off all of the purist...this should do it. We are combining a 1967 Camaro RS and a 2017 50th anniversary SS Camaro. We got the car back from acid dipping and put full floor pans in, a trunk pan w/ fillers, package tray, deck lid and filler panel, and we replaced both quarter panels. We replace the metal around the front and rear glass and designed trimless flush mount glass both front and rear. We are building a full frame with rack and pinion steering and independent rear suspension. We added some Chip Foose 20" wheels. We are installing the LT1 and 8L90 transmission and all of the interior from the 50 anniversary camaro. We have made all of the electronics function including ABS, traction control, navigation, and climate control. YES everything inside the car works as it would in the 2017 Camaro. Stay tuned for the next update
Another beautiful custom paint job done at Toxic Customs. This is a new 2023 Harley Street glide that we painted for Down Home Harley Davidson. It will be available for purchase tomorrow afternoon at the dealership. The graphics are faded vivid black and silver with orange candy and white highlights. They were applied over the factory orange and topped off with high solids clear coat.
Another beautiful custom paint job done at Toxic Customs. This is a new 2023 Harley Road King that we painted for Down Home Harley Davidson. It will be available for purchase this after noon at the dealership. the bike will not last long. Get it before some else sees it. If a fairing is more your style, we are also currently working on a custom paint job on a new 2023 Street glide for Down Home Harley. Stay tuned, we'll post pics in 2 weeks.
Classic Hot Wheels paint job. Yep, we've got you covered on that too.
This 1967 International showed up so rusty that the doors were actually falling off. Lots and lots of work latter, here we are. A supper cool wagon that screams 1970. After completing over 500 hours of metal fab, b/c NO parts are available, were added a GM crate 350 and a tremic 5 speed manual transmission. We also gave it fuel injection and the A/C which is necessary for the hot NC summers.
SoCal chicano anyone? This is not our first rodeo. We love laying down multiple coats of House of Kolor metal flake. Spray some Yellow candy, a few panels, some gangster ass line work, a little bit of lace, a gold leag HD logo, and... BAM another Toxic Customs original.
This is a throwback paint job to where toxic customs began. Timeless cherry metallic base with silver pearl flames. Throw in a HD logo and we're were done...mic drop
This is a build that showed up in boxes and pieced together. After close to 100 hours, many new parts, and one awesome paint job it came out very nice. Paying homage to bikes from the past. It's so nice to see someone who didn't want to build a bagger.
UPDATE. we finally got the new wheels for the 1969 C10 build. This wheel and tire combo fits much better.
Here's an update on the 1965 C10 restoration. showed up with the frame rusted in half. This is a frame off restoration. all original other that the addition of a/c and power front disc brakes.
This is a custom Hurricanes themed paint job that we partnered with The Carolina Hurricanes, To***co Road Harley Davidson, and The Law Tigers. The bike is to be given away to a lucky fan sometime in April. Register to win this bike at www.caniacsbike.com
This 2003 Harley FLSTF came to our shop after being involved in an accident. We added a heritage front fender and welded the lower rear section from the original fender to match the rear fender. We replaced and upgraded the many parts which were damaged in the accident. We also powder coated many of the engine and transmission covers and components gloss black and added a black vance and hines exhaust. We then topped this off with a custom mixed orange pearl paint job and added some subtle so-cal style graphics.
This 1969 Chevy C10 was restored from the frame up to appear original. but, hiding under the hood is a 454 big block, a 4L80 transmission, and edlebrock pro flo fuel injection. It was converted to an oak wood bed and still retains the OE style deluxe exterior trim. The truck has a beautifully restored interior and the engine compartment was dressed to impress.
Nova update. We added wilwood 4 wheel disc brakes, mini tubs, adjustable coilover suspension, currie 9" posi rear differential with a four link, and a set of rocket racing 18" wheels. It's still a work in progress, but it sure is a lot of fun to drive
what are we doing to the 72' Nova? How about an LS3 built to 460HP, a 6 speed transmission, a Currie 9 bolt with wilwood disc brakes, a mini tub, new rocket racing wheels, and some 315/40ZR18's. But, we are not done yet, stay tuned for the update coming soon.
