Fifty years after opening the first Mellow Mushroom right here in Atlanta, the City of Atlanta officially proclaimed September 19th as Mellow Mushroom Day! In celebration of this milestone, Councilmember Liliana Bakhtiari and the Atlanta City Council presented the proclamation at our soon-to-open Grant Park location.

In just the last 20 years, Mellow has created approximately 7,000 jobs and contributed $265 million in net sales across our Atlanta locations. With six stores in the city (and one on the way!), our roots in Atlanta run deep, and we’re proud to keep serving legendary stone-baked pizza with a side of local flavor. We celebrated the day with our Mellow team and long-term partners like Coca-Cola, who honored us with a custom commemorative painting. We couldn’t have done it without our amazing team and loyal customers. Here’s to the next 50 years of spreading those stone-baked vibes.
