Pepperoni Pizza Layer Cake 🎂🍕✨

Ingredients:

For the Cake Layers:
2 cups all-purpose flour 🍞
1 tbsp baking powder 🥄
1 tsp salt 🧂
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 🧈
1 cup granulated sugar 🍬
2 large eggs 🥚
1 cup milk 🥛
1 cup pizza sauce 🍅
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese 🧀
1 cup pepperoni slices 🍕
For the Frosting:
8 oz cream cheese, softened 🧀
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 🧈
2 cups powdered sugar 🍬
1 tsp vanilla extract 🌿
For Decoration:
Extra pizza sauce for drizzling 🍅
Additional pepperoni and cheese 🧀🍕

Instructions:

Make the Cake Layers: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, then milk, and gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined.

Add Pizza Flavors: Fold in pizza sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni slices into the batter. Divide evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.

Prepare the Frosting: Beat together cream cheese and butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.

Assemble the Cake: Once the cake layers are cool, spread a layer of frosting on top of one cake. Place the second cake on top and frost the top and sides.

Decorate: Drizzle with extra pizza sauce, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and top with pepperoni slices. Slice and enjoy this fun twist on pizza! 🍕🎂😋
