🌟 This one is easily one of my favorite t-shirts made here. Thank you to our best amiga who gave us the opportunity to work on these shirts for some of her coworkers at Potrero Elementary School in El Monte. 🦁🪐☄️🛸🚀✨

I was super excited about this one since El Monte is my hometown. A little fun fact: my dad was the PTA president at Le Gore Elementary while I was attending there. He used to help come up with ideas, so the fact I get to be part of some of that for a school in the district I have heavy history with is so humbling and meaningful. Hopefully there will be more opportunities to come. 😭🙌🏽🩷🥺

🎬👕💫 Some shirts we printed in action! This was at service at our church yesterday (8/11/24). We prayed out the missions group heading to Uganda to build playgrounds for children who’ve never seen one before! 🛝🙌🏽

I don’t think I can grasp how is more of a ministry than a business. Sometimes, we can get lost in just seeing it as our way of making a living, because on the outside, that’s all it does look like. But, even just a shirt can be used in God’s grand plan, which is encouraging, because it may seem that’s all we have to offer at this point.

Therefore, for us, customer service can’t just be customer service — it’s really service unto God so people may see Him. Even if it’s through providing shirts, we have to remember those shirts are for people; people who using those shirts to portray a message about who they are and what they stand for; to clothe themselves for a God-given mission to serve others.

I’m glad God is God and we’re not, because when we lose sight of the bigger picture, He won’t.

👀 Walking back into schools is such a humbling experience. We definitely don’t give enough credit to educators and staff at any school. Let’s not take for granted the fact we all, to some capacity, can read, write, speak, and learn -- the foundations of communication, exchanging of ideas, understanding, and growing into the person we are and can become.

We’re excited to present our services to our community and hope to have the opportunity to serve them. 🫶🏽

🌟 The reason we do pre-orders when we do pop-ups or online orders:

1) 🛒📦 Inventory: with new or specifically made items, we never know what’s going to sell or how fast it’s going to sell. Since we’re still starting up, we don’t have much space to store inventory or could afford to lose out on items that aren’t going to sell anymore.

2) 📈📉 Test out to see what the peeps like or don’t like: Sometimes, we’re not sure what the people will like. This kinda ties back to inventory; if they don’t like it, we will be stuck with things that aren’t going to sell. Also, pre-orders give peeps a chance to customize a little bit; we learn patterns and notice what people like or are changing.

🫶🏽 We do what we do for people first, they are who we serve. We take their words and feedback seriously and love it! 😀

📦 We will eventually have some inventory, but this method hasn’t been a problem for anyone on either side just yet.

👍🏽 We apply this method with almost all ways we do business; whether it be online stores, our our design apparel on our website (more info to come 👀), or any kind of popups we do. Custom orders are done similarly.

💙🧡 As mentioned in previous posts, this was/is an opportunity to do a mini and ongoing fundraiser for a ministry we are part of at our church. We’re creating apparel to share about the ministry and spread the word. We do have a couple of other Christian apparel options, too. 🩵

😮‍💨 Having a business has been a journey of forgiveness, grace, and mercy. We’re thankful God is ready to forgive when we realize we idolize work sometimes; when we think it’s all up to us for making ends meet; when we are tempted to get mad at Him for not making things happen when we want them to (😭); when we don’t want to rest. Just like marriage, it brings out things in us that we don’t like to see sometimes, but when given to God, He can sanctify us! Thank God. Literally. 😅
